  1. We like to sleep in, have a late breakfast and start hitting the tasting rooms by 11. Hit 2 spots and goto lunch to help stay sober. Dry Creek General Store or Oakville Grocery are 2 favorites. (Dry Creek usually has some bottles of Pliny too!). Grab a picnic lunch and head to the next winery. Healdsburg and Calistoga are two of our favorite towns in the world. Emeritus and Pappapietro Perry for Pinot. Benovia is also a great one. Iron Horse is a beautiful outdoor tasting. Hit 3 or 4 in the afternoon and stumble into town for dinner. Never had a problem driving, just gotta pace yourself, split tastings and plan your route to be close to the hotel at your last couple of spots. Farmhouse Inn is a great dining experience without the French Laundry price tag. Also Madrona Manor for dinner or a fancy cocktail to end the day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. I thought it was decent - very little aroma or complexity, but was very clean and good finish. Not worth the price though, much better in the mid-price range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. My brother-in-law and I did a blind bourbon taste test with today’s purchases (had my sister set it up.). We both nailed all 4 surprisingly. I had my top 4 as: OF1920 ER10 OF Statesman Calumet Farm B-in-law had CF 2nd and ER 4th. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. We noticed that too - very odd. Guess they don’t want people to drink Basil Hayden Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
