  1. “Breathing” exercises 🤣Just when you think he can’t get any more incompetent….
  2. Shaka still gon Shaka. Fraud still can’t live up to his seed and gets “upset” (not really) again.
  3. Ha! There’s a reason that even their school color is a euphemism for stupid!🤣
  4. Brock led or tied for the team lead in: Offensive Rebounds Total Rebounds Assists Steals Baller!
  5. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣The last time aggy got involved in physics they helped propagate arguably the biggest scientific fraud of the 20th century. This will end well. 🤣🤣😌 From 8 May, only the A&M tritium results kept cold fusion afloat. In June 1990 an article in Science by science writer Gary Taubes destroyed the public credibility of the A&M tritium results when it accused its group leader John Bockris and one of his graduate students of spiking the cells with tritium.
  6. “Developer John Goff calls the project “the most significant thing for the city in the last 100 years.” Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker predicts it is “an opportunity that will pay dividends for generations.” The National Cowgirl Museum begs to differ (double entendre NOT a coincidence) 😉
  7. More support for the working hypothesis that The Broyles Award is the kiss of death: Miami has fired Josh Gattis as offensive coordinator after one season, coach Mario Cristobal announced Friday. When Gattis was hired a year ago from Michigan, the move was widely applauded. Gattis had just won the Broyles Award as the top assistant coach in the country after helping the Wolverines make the College Football Playoff with a balanced offensive approach. But in his lone season in Miami, the results were not what was expected. Returning quarterback Tyler Van Dyke struggled in the new scheme even before he missed three games with a shoulder injury, throwing for 1,844 yards, 10 touchdowns and five interceptions -- a far cry from the 25 touchdowns he threw in 2021. Miami ranked No. 86 in the nation in total offense, averaging 367.1 yards. That was down from a top-20 offense in 2021 that averaged 448.8 yards. Compounding the issues was an inability to run the ball, as the Hurricanes averaged 3.7 yards per carry.
  8. Is it me or does the Broyles Award seem to be a bit of a Madden Cover/ SI Cover jinx? You have Kirby Smart who has gone on to great success. A couple of others of note, but seems to be a lot of Former… in the titles, and the guys winning them usually aren’t 70 years old. Based on this list, not sure I’m backing up the Brinks truck to hire the latest winner. 2001 Randy Shannon Miami (FL) Current co-defensive coordinator of Florida State, Former defensive coordinator at UCF, former head coach at Miami (FL), former interim head coach at Florida 2002 Norm Chow Southern California Most recently offensive coordinator of the XFL's Los Angeles Wildcats, former head coach at Hawaii 2003 Brian VanGorder Georgia Former head coach at Georgia Southern 2004 Gene Chizik Auburn Former head coach at Iowa State and Auburn 2005 Greg Davis Texas Former head coach at Tulane 2006 Bud Foster Virginia Tech Former associate head coach, linebackers coach, and defensive coordinator at Virginia Tech 2007 Jim Heacock Ohio State Former head coach at Illinois State 2008 Kevin Wilson Oklahoma Current head coach at Tulsa, former head coach at Indiana 2009 Kirby Smart Alabama Current head coach at Georgia 2010 Gus Malzahn Auburn Current head coach at UCF and former head coach at Auburn 2011 John Chavis LSU Former defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Arkansas; former defensive coordinator at Tennessee and Texas A&M 2012 Bob Diaco Notre Dame Former head coach at Connecticut 2013 Pat Narduzzi Michigan State Current head coach at Pittsburgh 2014 Tom Herman Ohio State Current head coach at Florida Atlantic, former head coach at Houston and Texas 2015 Lincoln Riley Oklahoma Current head coach at USC 2016 Brent Venables Clemson Current head coach at Oklahoma 2017 Tony Elliott Clemson Current head coach at Virginia 2018 Mike Locksley Alabama Current head coach at Maryland, former head coach at New Mexico, former interim head coach at Maryland 2019 Joe Brady LSU Former offensive coordinator of the NFL's Carolina Panthers 2020 Steve Sarkisian Alabama Current head coach at Texas, former head coach at Washington and USC, former offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Alabama 2021 Josh Gattis Michigan Current offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Miami 2022 Garrett Riley TCU
  9. Good friend worked their late 80s and early 90s. If you didn’t want pickles he took them off and threw them against the wall. Also, had many a good insult for people on the drag over the loudspeaker. And he brought home GM fries every night. Then he went to Hyde Park Bar and Grill and brought home their battered fries. Deliciously good times and a shit-ton of cholesterol!
  10. I hope whomever is watching this game with Sark punches him in the face every time Georgia has a play of 10+ yards.
  11. So, do we think that Jimbo Clownshoes, who thinks he is the greatest offensive mind in football (remember, every week it is not his system, it is him throwing his players under the bus for lack of execution), and has a guaranteed contract, and (IMO) would prefer to get fired and go back to Country Roads to coach since he looks miserable at every press conference, is really going to hire an OC? aggy has 0% leverage and Clownshoes has 100% leverage. Not sure why he would hire one.

  13. Wow! Would have killed to see either but that was a few years before my time. The only time I ever hitchhiked, the guy who gave us a ride was at the Clash concert and at the video shoot for Rock the Casbah. My dream show! U2 right behind that. So friggin cool you got to see that!!!!! I heard the legends of those shows. Rock on!!!
  14. Yep. We were there to see The Cult. GnR were that opening band nobody knew. I actually caught the handwritten band's song list from GnR as they were throwing crap off the stage after the show. Thought it was The Cult's. Tried to give it away since we had no idea who the opening band was and didn't know any of the songs on the list - P City, Jungle, Nighttrain, etc.. Kept it since nobody wanted it. A few weeks later GnR blew up on MTV. Ha! Good times! Still have that song list.
  15. Just tuned in to see Wofford beat aggy at basketball. Wofford's 5th win over a major conference team in 5/6 years (or something like that). 🤣
  16. Dude! Major props and fuckin' rock on!!! Fugazi at Liberty Lunch, Fishbone at the Texas Union, Guns and Roses at Palmer Auditorium, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Opera House were some memorable ones, too!
  17. Yep. Had it in Welch, too. The prof I had taught it like a classic astronomy class on star and planet formation. Then on the last day of class finally said (not kidding) - “Is there extraterrestrial life out there? We don’t know. But we spent the semester studying what would make it possible.” WTF man! Did not even touch on the Drake Equation. Annoying! History of Rock & Roll (took in 1991), we spent maybe one week on music of the 70s and 80s, which is what I knew. The majority was 1950s and before, and a lot of pre-RnR stuff - old blues and stuff. Cool, historic, and led to RnR, but would have preferred more Ramones (who we used to see at the Back Room for $8) 🤘🏻. Once again, annoying! Sorry to derail. Now back to your regular programming. Point and laugh at aggy/Jimbo. And don’t get me started on the cold fusion thing again. Those of us in the UT physics department were like - hell no! Leave it to aggy to go down with the cold fusion ship, including possibly falsifying results, while the rest of the world was laughing at one of the biggest scientific frauds of the 20th century. aggy always gonna aggy - even their physics department. Some things never change…
  18. Make that two of us. Took The Search for Extraterrestrial Life, in addition to many others. Did not discuss aliens until the last day of class. Definitely need to rename that class. History of Rock and Roll was not nearly as cool as it sounded either, dammit!
  19. And this is a Natty Light with a couple of ISU coeds on the side. 🤣
  20. Auburn already got the contract drafted - ONLY if convicted of felony, though. Gotta have standards, yo.
  21. So do we know if "separated" means they were basically breaking off the engagement - meaning that is her fiancé but they were breaking up? Based on the earlier post of the Tech grad, drinks, and the bar, didn't really sound like it was on solid footing, and if not, why the hell were they still shacking up??? Go volleyball!!!! In the finals baby!!!
  22. We flew down from Dallas and caught a cab with Craig Way to that game. Still can’t believe it cleared the bar. It was glorious!
  23. If I'm Kane, I'm going right down the middle on the second PK. FTW FTT and 30 extra minutes and possibly penalties (although that usually doesn't end well for the Three Lions).
