  1. Aggy NIL for local candy store. They are getting closer to figuring it out.
  2. Solid insight, thank you. Goes with most of what I guessed. Davis, Flood, Banks, and PK/Choate really seem to be the keys to me. It has really hurt us shifting DC's (entire staffs) every few years. Y2 under PK - Ford and others really progressed. Y3 for Ford should be a treat to watch. Learning and recruiting towards a specific system is huge imo. Hoping we retain the nucleus of this staff for years. @texifornia, I'll give you I forgot LT but anyone screaming that Dalton is memorable or anything but maybe approaching average is crazy. His career QBR etc shows average to below average. Yes, he somehow got a few pro bowls early in his career with a 50ish QBR. Outside the state of Texas and I bet 50% or more in the state of Texas, TCU is a complete unknown geographically or for anything to most sports fans. UT, USC - different story. Davey O'Brien? Yep, he went to TCU spent most of his career as a back-up until his senior year (a good year). Spent 2 years iirc in the NFL all sometime in the late 1930's. A foundation awards a trophy with his name on it. Puts TCU on the map ... totally. Maybe Duggan will. I'm not against the school, it's probably a decent college. But a talented football athlete that can choose between UT, USC, TCU - there's one in that list that doesn't belong. But you do you and proclaim the TCU might and that people even know where it is (they don't), their huge NFL HOF list and roster of players, etc. They don't belong in the same conversation as UT or USC for football by any known metric. I did think Milwee had some type of OC/co-OC title for pay reasons, my bad on that.
  3. I thought Milwee was OC or Co-OC? And I get that Sark is our real OC. I know it's a positive sign to have coaches recruited away, but I hope we hold this staff for years. Very solid staff.
  4. I get that TCU played in the title game and got properly ass raped. Why a talented or smart young person would ever choose TCU over UT or USC is beyond me. Outside of Texas and probably most in Texas, no one even knows where TCU is - that degree would be worthless in Atlanta, TN, Colorado, IL, etc. - all places I've lived and a UT education is known. NFL, name a famous TCU player without research. I can't. I'd slap the shit out of my son if he could go to UT or USC free and picked TCwho?
  5. East not West before I get blasted. Point stands though and they lost to Auburn that gave JImbo (FSU) his only credibility in a very close game 2013.
  6. aggy hasn't done anything in over a generation. Their claimed championships are all claimed by other schools. We're talking WW1/start of WW2 type crap - they self awarded. Missouri is 50/50ish in the SEC and has won a SEC West championship and played in the SEC title game. aggy, not so much. They'd have rings, plaques, new buildings, etc if they had Missouri success. Damn it would suck to be an aggy - all levels. But, got Jimbo! Well done aggy. They are hoping for Missouri level success but are SEC ready! Our (and OU) SEC entrance is going to crush that diploma mill.
  7. Most of us know, you're 100% correct. CSPD and some other aggy PD. They know who pays the bills in that village. Aggy is what they are, imbeciles always.
  8. The aggy football player that rapes women is covered up or fake news? They said they knew who the suspect was, yet no further updates? I guess the caution of, big ass dude raping women on campus - we know who he is, he's out there still, good luck females - works in that village.
  9. Other than that horrible sports coat with the odd stripes, Sark presents well and dresses perfect. He also presents well to the media. No regards on him representing - dressed right, speaks great to media. Let's get 10+ wins though.
  10. For a semi-decent accounting school, atm should know that's a liability not revenue. Maybe it's the scrutiny we put on atm, but that is a backwards program in every regard. The lies on championships, the cheating, the fools they hire, etc? How does a program do this for decades ... well, shit, over a generation. And they wonder why they are the laughing stock of programs. Absolute fools. Glad for my UT MPA and BBA degrees. Wow.
  11. We can wish or not on the hobbit's future. I want him there for decades. If shit starts coming out about hobbit covering up rapes again etc. wow, this gets ugly. I hope those women get support and help. Petrino seems logical for the next $100 M contract. His next best was $250k at some directional TN school? Makes sense for aggy. Wow on ugly. I couldn't imagine this and don't like it tbh.
  12. And at 5'7" he can look Jimbo directly in the eyes and profess his aggy loyalty. That new 5"11" LB they got seemed like a giant to Jimbo. SEC ready. Been working for the past decade. Go aggy.
  13. Small and slow BUT they beat out Baylor, Ole Miss, and CU as his best option. Apparently, we saved 25+ major programs (Who's Who offer list, similar to Hill) from dodging the Gullette bullet. When a young man has an offer list like Gullette, it's a damn strong indicator of potential and ability imo. Truly a delusional fan base.
  14. He blocks like a truck, lays his body out to make catches even after multiple injuries, and catches the ball. I'd take him over Worthy's piss ass, prima donna, non committal, NIL bullshit non-performance all day. JWitt is a player that gives his all. Yea, if not obvious, I want Worthy and his bullshit NIL gone. Let Cook own this with Neyor and JWitt. Worthy is a cancer, the last one. JWitt is a gem. Agree, Lhorn and well said.
  15. Neither is Worthy, but we continue to roll him out with his half assed play and lack of effort. He's obviously a scheme fit. Any BMD paying his NIL is a fool - move on. Get Duce and let's Cook!
  16. Please free up the Worthy NIL cash. The big body WR works with a few fast guys that can and will catch the ball. Git rid of Worthy, prima donna that is a clutch for Sark and this offense. Hello, WR portal to complement Cook. the 5'10" 160-170lb experiment is over. Also, get a LB and big DT.
  17. So true, sir. We can hope though! Audere est Facere
  18. Absolutely, perfectly stated. His effort is not positive for the WR room (on field). I hope Cook will redefine WR effort for us.
  19. LB yes - we have Ford (Maybe?), Hill coming in with other real talent that will need time to develop, then our existing JAGS - need a few edge/EDGE/eDgE/edGE/EDge - no clue. We have 15+ people that fit the profile and keep recruiting this position ala Billy Walton's of the world. I don't understand this position difference from a LB. We have almost 20% of our roster devoted to not the right people for it or our coaches are as clueless as I am on what they want here. A tall, fast, ~230 player? No idea, but it's not working. WR - big need. Let X go imo. Put that NIL to work on larger known pass catchers. Hope Neyor heals up.
  20. Worthy has shown he is fast once he has the ball in hand. He hasn't shown anything else this year. If he's going to hold UT to his NIL demands, move on. Watch the play of OU Mims (sp?) or FSU that tall WR that did miss one TD throw but proved it for over 200 yards. They may miss a few but give everything to try and had some spectacular catches that help their QB out. For a player the coaches laud about work ethic etc. , I don't see any of it on the field and this isn't the first game like this. Call him on NIL, let him go. Get some portal WRs to complement Cook. On Sark and Marion, I'm not seeing the benefit of the 5'10" 170lb WR room. This game screamed entitlement and not earning it at multiple skill positions. How much is coaching vs. effort, no clue. Defense had some issues but played well enough to win this game. Offense was bad - QE did what was asked, this isn't on him. Worthy is not a #1 WR, he's proved he is situational all year.
  21. he cost us points again. let him go.
  22. Get receivers that go up and get the ball and can catch. I'd be fine letting X go and redistribute that NIL.
  23. This is gold to help!
  24. Thank you all, especially Codaxx. I know that response took time and effort. 927 - yea but I loved being at the game in SA to beat Nebraska - 1 second and we torched their program. Defense was good enough. Seeing that 4th down TE call was glorious. Bad_teammate - how heavy do they need to be for that? Clearly I'm wrong on what we need. bschoolprof and I had similar misunderstandings it sounds like. Is 220lbs enough now?
