  1. Has this asshole ever heard of the night of the long knives?
  2. I’ve been on two separate biz trips to bangalore. I stayed at a company house each time. Bangalore has higher elevation so its temperature is comfortable. We had a driver to get us to the office and back to the guest house. The commute to and from work was the most fascinating thing. The morning commute had intersections filled with buses with people sitting on top and riding the bumper, auto rickshaws, cars, motorcycles, a cow or two lounging in the intersection, and a six year old wandering between the traffic. Mayhem. The evening commute is dark so it’s not the visual extravaganza. I usually took a nap to the make the 1.5 hrs go by faster. Every day the route would be different as the drivers would let each other know which route was the “best”. You would see modern office buildings next to a neighborhood of houses made of cardboard. You can’t really call them homeless because that was actually their multi-generational home. On my first trip, I took a weekend and flew from bangalore to new delhi, took a train to agra to see the taj mahal, took an overnight train to jaipur to see the city, took a train back to new delhi and flew back to bangalore. When I got off the train in agra, a guy offered to give me a tour of the city to see the taj, mini taj, agra fort, take me to eat for the day. $20. My second trip I got food poisoning that set in minutes before my departing flight from bangalore to frankfurt connecting to dallas. I got on the flight and suffered my way back to dallas where the flight attendants forced me to deplane in a wheelchair. I had spent the entire flight from frankfurt to dallas in the bathroom. They periodically checked on me to make sure I was still alive.
  3. https://apnews.com/article/horses-bolt-loose-london-injured-bloody-3f26655babe06f78a68164fed597b033 LONDON (AP) — Two military horses that bolted and ran miles through the streets of London after being spooked by construction noise and tossing their riders were in serious condition after undergoing operations, a U.K. government official said Thursday. The animals were among a group of four horses that broke free during routine exercises Wednesday near Buckingham Palace and caused chaos as they galloped loose through central London during morning rush hour. A fifth horse that tried to bolt hadn’t been able to break free. Two of the horses underwent operations and one was transferred to an equine hospital, the British Army posted on X. “Three of them are fine, two of them are unfortunately in a relatively serious condition and obviously we will be monitoring that condition,” defense minister James Cartlidge told Sky News. “They are in a serious condition, but as I understand, still alive.” Three soldiers thrown from their steeds were hospitalized with injuries, but were expected to fully recover and return to duty. The loose horses from the Household Cavalry, the ceremonial guard of the monarch and a feature of state functions in London, were named as Vida, Quaker, Trojan and Tennyson. Cartlidge identified Vida as the white horse seen drenched in blood as it galloped down Aldwych, in between London’s historic financial center and the busy West End theater district. Vida ran alongside a black horse named Quaker that could be seen sideswiping a taxi as it turned into oncoming traffic after running through a red light at an intersection. During the wild spectacle captured by stunned commuters and shared on social media, the horses had near misses with cyclists and a rider on a motorbike at a traffic light. Witnesses saw one of the animals crash into a taxi outside the Clermont Hotel, shattering windows. Another slammed into a tour bus, smashing the windshield.
  4. Goddamn. She saw that. I talked / facetimed her; she’s shaken up. She wanted to see our dogs.
  5. Wife said the glass on the bus had a big spiderweb crack from the impact from the white horse’s head.
  6. Mrs. GenXer is in london right now and saw this happen live when she was uber-ing to her conference. Something dropped from a construction site and spooked the horses. She saw four horses throwing their riders. She saw the white horse run into a bus.
  7. I’m likely totally wrong as I don’t share the same worldview and strategy as a malignant narcissist but I think he’s trying to terrorize jurors so that they’ll withdraw or just not show up. If enough drop out, then it’s a mistrial? If he can get his legion of stupids to flood the courthouse, they’ll eventually get the idea to start looking for jurors and videoing random people that walk into the courthouse. Then, terror sets in with the jurors. I served on a jury a couple decades ago, and several of the jurors expressed concern during deliberation about the defendant exacting revenge on them.
  8. Experts say it’s probably illegal. But The Legal Scholars say it’s totally legal and totally cool.
  9. “The tension spilled into public view last week when Comer and the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, Rep. Jamie Raskin, got into a sparring match over the status of the investigation at an unrelated hearing. Raskin posited, “You have not identified a single crime. What is the crime that you want to impeach Joe Biden for and keep this nonsense going?” “You’re about to find out very soon,” Comer replied.” Never fear. Mike Lindell is on the case. Two weeks.
  10. The elephant also forgot women’s genitalia That cartoon actually makes an accurate commentary on the GQP; it’s complete bullshit.
  11. You say that like it’s a bad thing
  12. This is a stupid cartoon. One dumbass religion calling another dumbass religion “far right”.
  13. You kiddin’ me? She brought her bucket o’ slop to gorge herself on while waiting for dotard. She’s prepared for the revolution.
  14. John Fullbright was a no-show at Kessler tonight. It put Bruce Robison in an awkward position making the announcement after the first opener concluded her set. Robison did a good job improvising and stretching his set.
