  1. Martin house is a gimmick trash brewery. My unsolicited opinion is they should stop making shite beers like coconut pie stout with lactose. One sip and dumped it onto the lawn. In my defense it was a free can, but it also had a singles price tage of $3.25. Also, the fuck outta here with that ridiculously careless boxing of two cans to make your brewery look creative or whatever. There's enough waste in the world. Anyway, fuck martin house for making me drink that 0.001 ounce of liquid diarrhea.

hope that stands grade is as steep as DCs
  3. All of these, plus Stoup is right around the block from Reuben's Brews, so if you're already in that neighborhood ...
  4. when johnathan gray ruptured his achilles, it looked a lot different, like a giant fist that rolled up into his calf. This didn't look like that.
  5. goddam, you are a fucking psychopath. why are you so fucked up in the head? almost every keystroke leads to something just 'off' about you. i mean, sucking another man's dick is like the most normal thing you've ever shared about yourself. Get some help man.
  6. UN FUCKING REAL. I though i had seen everything yesterday. Fun final, but man, i wanted AJAX
  7. I'm phrasing it more like 'Johnny Marr was the real talent in The Smiths' sort of thinking. Sure, morrissey had the vox and the english romanticist lyrics, but marr held the whole band in check from spinning into the ether. Listening to FOTB as a 13 track album is actually a fantastic idea. I'll do that tonight as i get my NE IPA on.
  8. This is gone be an awesome finish
  9. Rostam WAS vampire weekend. I know he produced We Belong Together, which is probably the most VW sounding track on FotB, but the rest of the production is utter shit. Individually, the tracks sorta hold up as one-offs, but as an album its a fuckin mess. The pre-releases are obviously the tent poles, but the shorter tracks are where this album should have gone. I dunno, i think VW are one of my top 5 bands in the last decade, but this one is sort of a little trinket on the shelf of their catalogue. Rostam held Ezra's douchiness in. Oh, also, I love female fronted bands, but a whole half album of a guest singer? Very dumb. No way this album holds up over time. FUCK. 2021 is the jam tho.
  10. I'll probably switch my go-to beer from Swifty to this
  11. This is so fuckin huge its hilarious. How's BB gonna handle this with just a bunch of random bombers of dollar general candle tasting beers? And it sucks that someone gave Christine Celis the keys to Austin's brewing origin story. A 50K brewhouse? LMFAO. Who else is looking for something like that other than ... uh, buffalo bayou?

"Bill aimed at KILLING MLS stadium deal no longer applies" is a better headline
  13. We let the NCAA neuter our network from being a true weapon. Texas was a fucking pussy under Deloss. I love LHN because of all the sports programming and recruiting day coverage, but CDC will take that shit to 11.
  14. Baku is uh, really nice
  15. I went back to look at his '18 hilights to see if I could see what GMs were afraid of and holy fuck, he was so fucking good.
  16. There shouldn't be too much friction in the Senate. One of the things about the house was that, while many Reps have breweries in their district, something like 100 or so, did not. Meanwhile, EVERY senator has a brewery in their district, which should help make the case for their constituents. Still, never underestimate the fuckery of BIG DISTRO.
  17. this is true. i usually just take them to the brewery to run out their energy.
  18. unfortunately. breeding accident. three times. 1, 3, and 7. Imagine my patience.
  19. uh yeah. don't spank your kids. and if you are that kind of asshole, don't do it so hard you bruise them.
  20. If you want to ever see beer to go in Texas ... seriously ... I think 2019 is the only shot for the foreseeable future. The Brewer's Guild has got one of the two major distributor alliances on board with B2G which is pretty unbelievable in and of itself, but the other alliance, the Wholesale Beer Distributors of Texas is still paying off the lege committee leads who refuse to give this bill a shot in committee, much less a shot at a floor vote. The last option is to tie this bill as an amendment to the TABC sunset review that is up for vote this thursday i believe. You can show support by contacting your State Rep, mine is Gina Hinojosa who is very pro-B2G (shit, mostly everyone is ... it has the most co-authors and most bipartisan support of any bill in front of the House Licensing Committee). The only opposition are the jerks who the WBDT paid off, like Kelly Hancock and Tracy King, who head the committees where this bill would get heard; and Speaker Bonnen who's FIL owns a fucking WBDT distributorship. Bonnen refuses to recuse himself from issues related to alcohol this session. Texas, amiright? Anyway, here are some ways you can show support
  21. Awful. We were very briefly in a psych 301 class together the semester it happened and the morning after the professor comes into the classroom an describes what happened. Shook everyone up. RIP.
