She was not speaking to him at the time. 0 seconds of 0 seconds There is a growing concern on Tuesday about how a man accused of pulling a gun on his ex-girlfriend in a northwest Austin bar could be released on $40,000 bond in less than two days. A surveillance video posted on Twitter by Austin Councilmember Mackenzie Kelly shows Rush placing a leather satchel on top of the bar. The police affidavit states that when she refused to talk to him, Rush pulled out a pistol and pointed it at her with a red dot from a laser sight centered on her chest. That’s when two customers tackled Rush and held him until Austin police arrived.
