My mistake, I didn't consider Vandy a big game. I'd like to see that type of play against tOSU, UGA, ou's DBs. While great on offense, their defense isn't their strength. Luckily he was able to high point a pass from Arch with no one within 20 yards of him against aggy. When I see him mossing UGA's DBs like Golden, I'll consider him a WR1. Those are the types of WRs we need for next year. -

Yes, I remember Worthy having drops, he also played with a broken hand. Even then, he did not have anywhere near the drops Wingo had. Comparing them is dumb. Worthy hit damn near 1000 yards with freshman year, 800 his soph year, and had a solid Jr year with all the talent on that team (AD, and JWhit). He made big plays in big games against Bama, ou, etc. He's also been a starter on a playoff team his 1st and 2nd year in the NFL. Wingo is not that. The aggy game is the 1st time I remember Wingo making a big time play against a top 10 opponent? I'd prefer not to put all our eggs in his basket and get a proven WR in the portal. I also want to clarify, I want Wingo on the team, but not as WR 1. DM Jr can get fucked in the portal. Dude had 1 Td until the Arkansas game. -
I'm pissed but I feel for Miami fans. Given the head to head with Notre Dame and being left out with the same record is beyond stupid. What is the fucking point of even playing the games if you won't account head to head. Same reason I think it's laughable that we are behind ou, aggy and Vandy in some polls. All 3 of those teams likely have 4 losses if they played our schedule. We were in control of all 3 games yet we are ranked behind for losing to the #1 and #3 team in the country. If teams were to play on a neutral site amongst the top 12, Texas would be favored in against all the teams outside of 4-5 teams. Miami should 100% be in front of Notre Dame. At the end of the day, they beat them and that supersedes any other stupid metric or eye test when records are equal.

Let's not compare Wingo and Worthy. No one wanted Worthy gone bc of his play. It was his social media BS and constant threat of transferring that had fans sour on him. Wingo is all potential and extremely inconsistent. He has dropped too many passes in crucial games in crucial moments. He is soft fighting DBs and rarely fights for the ball making contested catches. His route running is poor. He is fast, that is is elite trait. I'm not saying I want Wingo gone but I would not be happy if he's our WR1 going into next year. We need consistency and a guy that we can turn to when the game is on the line. AD Mitchell made game winning plays. Golden made game winning plays. If it's 4th and 15, how confident are you that Wingo makes the play? Given that next year is the year before we rebuild again in 2027 on the O-line, QB, and defense, we need guys at WR, RB, and TE that can help us win a title. -

Anyone have home ins recs? I bought a home 2 years ago and the yearly premium went from 4.5k to 6k last year to fucking 8.7k for next year. It's mercury, not even the greatest policy or coverages. Is this what everyone is paying now? If you of you have contacts to someone that can help me get a cheaper policy, please dm me. Oh btw, fuck insurance companies. My fucking silver BCBS ppo plan for self employed for healthy family of 4 (mid 30s and 2 kids under 3), is fucking $2600 a month (fucking 9k ind deductible). Now my home owners ins is damn year $800 a month. Auto insurance for two cars $300 a month. Then fucking disability and life insurance. I'm damn near paying 45k a year in fucking insurance premiums. Fuck all of them mother fuckers. This doesn't even fucking include my business property and gen liability or malpractice insurance. This country fucking sucks. Rant over. -

I think between Jonah (assuming he goes through spring practice), Hicks, JJR, Filsame, and D. Williams… there is plenty of talent. If McDonald comes back, even better. Definitely think 1 experienced safety in the portal would be good but I don’t think it’s a must. Personally, if I’m Jelani, I would go pro. He’s got great measurables, had a very good year on film and safety is not a position of value in the nfl so staying doesn’t exactly improve his draft stock much. I think he can easily go rounds 2-4 with how well he will test at the combine. -

I doubt Goosby goes pro. Bobby and Gerry have said that the family understands development is needed and they’re not looking to play one year and go late in the draft like Cam Williams. -

We will likely take 1-2 OL players. Goosby and Baker are back with extensive experience and will have an entire offseason to add weight. Nick Brooks is going to lock up one of the guard spots. He’s too big and talented to sit on the bench. Another offseason will help him too. We need to see if Cruz and Kibble are ready. If so great, but that is where I look in the portal for an experienced center or guard. We don’t need Kelvin Banks. We just need “better than Stroh”. Then we also will have Cojoe back and let’s see if Chatman and the Coleman brothers come on. I probably would also take an experienced tackle that is fine riding the bench incase Goosby or Baker get hurt. As far as WR. Moore is either declaring for the draft only to go undrafted and straight to the practice squad. Or him and Wingo can go play at Missouri, Tenn, UCLA. Those two are getting paid and not producing. Georgia got Noah Thomas, Branch. Aggy got Craver, Conception. There are plenty of very good WRs with experience that would come here to compete. If I’m Sark, I keep Mosley and Livingstone if they aren’t costing much and upgrade the WR1 and WR2 spots. The freshman can leave if they want. Who is going to pay them what they are getting here? None of them outside of McClutcheon warrants top dollar or has proven they can play at this level. They may down the line, but you don’t waste dollars to sit on the bench. We absolutely NEED a stud RB. It may be the biggest need on this team. We don’t have a single back that can do the things Sark requires. Wisner is a good but he’s not a RB1 consistently. Baxter is a shell of his former self. The young guys didn’t instill confidence with their play. If there is one position I throw money at, it’s RB. I think the defense has a ton of young talent. I don’t think we need as many guys on defense. A safety and CB. Maybe a LB and DT for depth. Simmons, January, Watson, Zina. Spence, Lefau, Smith, Littleton, Phillips, Black is a great starting point. Add a few guys for depth and let the young 5 stars compete for depth. I feel much better about the defense than offense as far as holes in the roster. -
Well they are 5 stars that we are paying well. If they aren’t producing and couldn’t beat out a guy that we took late for probably a fraction of the cost, then yeah, they are “just another guy”. This is a business now. These guys are coming here basically under contracts. There is a cap. We get 1 more year of Arch. If they aren’t producing, then we need to use those funds for WRs in the portal that can contributors. If they want to stay on the team and take less dollars, that’s great. But there is no reason for us to pay players top dollars to sit the bench.
-
Wingo and Moore are getting paid big bucks right? The ROI on them has been trash. If I remember, you stated Moore had a ridiculous ask at the end of last season and was ready to walk. I’m assuming we are opening the door for him after this season? Wingo has been a complete bust given the expectations with his drops and he is probably the highest paid WR on the roster. Use his money for someone that will actually make a difference. Terry , Lockett, French all got paid and couldn’t beat out Daylon McClutcheon? In today’s rev share and caps, the elite guys have to produce and you can’t have WRs sitting the bench eating up NIL when there’s basically a cap now. They may be portal out but it’s gonna be to Missouri, Rutgers, etc. I don’t think Ohio State, Bama, UGA, Oregon wants these JAGs.

Man these last few commits and guys we are after seem like JAGs and our plan B and C options. This staff has shown the ability to find late risers and have hit on their fair share of 3 stars and players that were offered and evaluated late so I guess they get the benefit of doubt. But yeah, taking guys from Standford, Cal, Minnesota doesn't seem like a recipe for success when we want to beat UGA and tOSU. -
All REE stocks are tanking…. Or maybe going back to their normal price before the August, September rally.
