  1. Is that some kind of Eastern thing?
  2. You have already given that exchange more thought than I have. Your welcome?
  3. Honestly, I'm a little shocked at how average looking she is. Not an unattractive woman, but still.
  4. That's not even a hot take, just straight up bait for engagement. The Athletic has really nosedived since the NYT bought them. I don't really care to defend Bear Grylls, but what I remember from that whole situation was that he never claimed that he slept in the wild or actually put himself in danger. His show was about showing people how to survive in certain situations (while being entertaining TV) rather than actually surviving them. I mean, dude had a film crew with him the whole time, it's not like he was hiding the fact that stuff was staged. The other big show doing the same thing at the time, Survivor Man, was about a guy actually putting himself in danger by himself and filming it. Which, for me, was way more interesting, but it was also a lot harder on the host. I think the guy eventually had to quit the show because of the toll it took on his body.
  5. I understand that's the CW, but it seems like Sark does a good job of getting the team up for road games. Most of our big losses are at home. Actually, "most" is the wrong way to put it. Since 2023, our only losses are either at home (UGA last season) or neutral sites. We haven't lost a true road game since OSU in 2022.
  6. Kadyn Proctor and Jaeden Roberts are extremely talented, with Proctor projecting to be on the top OL in the 2026 draft. But more than either of them, I think Parker Brailsford is an excellent center. He came over with DeBoer from UW, and he was calling protections for Penix in 2023. That unit pass blocked pretty well. At Bama this season, you've got DeBoer, Grubb, and Ty Simpson at QB, so I think their offense is going to look a lot more like it did at Washington with less focus on the run game. Pass pro is going to matter more, and I think with Proctor at LT and Brailsford at C they will have an elite unit.
  7. My position on Clemson is that they are one of the most experienced lines in the country and the core of the line has played close to a thousand snaps together. I think Blake Miller is one of the best RT's in the country. Pass blocking is better than their run blocking, but there seems to be a lot of that going around. Regarding A&M - yeah, they're thin but the starters are sound. Beyond saying that, I won't allow you to put me in the position of defending A&M. You make a good point about Florida. They bring back most of one of the best lines from last year. Their combination at guard is elite and probably the best in the country.
  8. Alabama should definitely be on the list of best OL. I don't know if they're better than Notre Dame, but they are probably the best OL in the SEC. Clemson, PSU, and Utah should probably be on the list as well. And roll your eyes if you want, but A&M's OL should be solid. I don't think I would trade their starters for ours, but they should be a decently talented and cohesive unit.
  9. At this risk of starting a fracas in here too, is it really crazy that Flood would still be tinkering with the OL? Like maybe they have the 8 guys they trust, and they're just trying to figure out if the pieces can fit together differently? I work with a lot of smart people who will still waste time and energy running a dumb idea into the ground just because they want to be absolutely certain that it's not a good idea. Maybe moving Neto to LT is just Flood's version of "sounds ridiculous but let's just see..." I'm going even farther further even more out on a limb, but maybe they're doing it because Neto has asked to play LT? It's the premier OL position and he's in his contract year. I get that this would be wasting valuable reps, but maybe it's worth it. I'm not saying there aren't greater injury concerns at play. But are these other ideas really that outlandish?
  10. Gifs from Yarn.co get borked up on mobile. They show up fine on desktop.
  11. First, thank you. I appreciate the article. I assumed that was the case but it's nice to have it confirmed. Second, Helobious is just doing his schtick. It's not a big deal. But I wanted to nip it in the bud before it turns into three pages of people arguing with him. No matter how bad the bait is, someone always bites. Watching people argue with him is a fun way to kill time during the off season, but there's actual football and recruiting news going on. Third, man I really wish that Chang had worked out better as the coach at UH. I know "he's not dead yet" but his tenure has gone poorly. I remember watching those Hawaii offenses back in the day and part of me hoped he would get things going again.
  12. Rather than spending any time looking into this I'm just going to assume you're wrong and get on with my day.
  13. Timmy Chang and your bait is getting obvious.
  14. Are we really arguing about Manning running the ball more? It seems like y'all are talking past each other and being particularly obstinate about missing the point the other is trying to make. Arch will use his legs more than Quinn. Both by design and capitalizing on opportunities that the defense presents. He's faster than Ewers and more durable. But Sark doesn't like running his QBs and is obviously cognizant of how badly it would suck for Arch to get injured. "Reasonably conservative" is probably the right phrase. How Arch runs is almost as important as when he runs, which was already noted above. Dude needs to get on the ground and avoid big hits once he's gained some yards. No more diving head first into defenders. I feel like both of y'all are saying some version of this but refusing to agree with one another.
  15. If everything we are hearing is accurate then I have to agree. But remember that Sark likes to use the media to motivate guys. I don’t doubt that Owens is more talented than Caldwell, but he may lack maturity or ambition. Being QB2 at Texas, behind arch Manning, is a pretty sweet gig. I could see someone getting complacent. My hope is that Caldwell is just there to be the emergency QB and to light a fire under Owens.
  16. Right, because we haven’t needed our backup QB at all these past 4 seasons.
  17. Wait, they're actually room mates? It's not just a joke? CTJ, you might as well pay me that $100 today.
