  1. It was, then it went to Texas +1 and I came here to see why. Something tells me the Mitchell news is what moved it. Regardless, OU sucks.
  2. Yeah, IANAL, but the counter theoretically can account for 100 million docs, there's gotta be a reason it goes that high.
  3. Anyone know what the latest announcement from BlockFi really means? And bigger picture, is it still a safe place to put money? I started out small but have been making regular deposits and purchases trying to dollar-cost-average it. Now if I lost it all, it would hurt.
  4. It’s the same circle from a trump cartoon.
  5. Much like weed or tobacco, crack is typically smoked by applying a flame directly to the rock and then inhaling. Steel wool, or a few screens is needed to keep the melting rock from 'running away' before it is completely vaporized. You can use a simple straight glass tube (preferred by crackheads), glass pipes or even glass bongs that could also be used for weed or tobacco. Meth is typically smoked by melting the rock with indirect heat and inhaling the smoke created by the melting process. Crystal meth, the preferred medium for smoking, come in rocks as well and look like big pieces of salt. This is a meth pipe. 4'' Thick Incense Burners - 20 pieces| AAA Glass Pipes Put the crystal in the bowl, heat from the bottom, and when smoke appears, inhale. A simple cigarette lighter can be used for meth. Crack is better with a stronger flame, such as a small torch lighter or a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol or high-proof liquor, such as 151 rum. Purveyors of meth pipes, like the one in the link, often call them 'incense burners' to get around drug paraphernalia laws. While one could easily smoke tobacco out of a crack pipe, especially one that isn't just a straight glass tube, it would be difficult to argue that one can smoke tobacco out of a meth pipe. Of course, a seasoned drug addict could smoke their drug of choice out of just about anything with just about anything. Tinfoil and matches? No problem. But it always drives me nuts in the movies when actors smoke crack like it's meth.
  6. Don't forget Drunk David Ash.
  7. Hawaiian Airlines, pre-pandemic at least, sold beer and wine on interisland flights. If you're nice to the flight attendant you can get a second beer, but you gotta plan it out and be ready to catch them when they're picking up trash. Helps to be in the front of the plane. It's not unusual either. I mean, you might be the only guy on that flight getting another drink, but you won't be the only guy that day.
  8. Ask and you shall receive… TL;DR only 8 SWA flights are less than 176 miles. https://www.inc.com/bill-murphy-jr/southwest-airlines-just-made-a-controversial-change-its-flight-attendants-are-outraged.html
  9. I love this team, warts and all.

  17. good job getting 2 on their big guy
  18. There are no dumb questions, even here. OK...maybe there are some here, but this is not one of them. I feel like the amount of a private sale will far exceed what the dealer will offer in trade. The sales guy, who we've used on previous purchases/leases and who family member have also used, pretty much said that. If anyone here has a similar (or differing) experience, I'd love to hear about it. I'm in CA anyway, just double checked, the tax amount is based on the cost of the new car before any trade-in or other offset is taken.
  19. Ordered a new car back in Nov and it should be here in March and thinking about selling the old one instead of trading it in. Thinking back, I've never really sold a car, always just traded it in. Just never seemed to be worth the headache to sell myself. But now, all I'm hearing is that used cars are selling for more than their new counterparts, so maybe the math will work out. What's the best option? Carmax? Carvana? webuyyourcar.com or other online brokers? Craigslist? I feel like selling to a broker means they will take all the profit, not me. Any gotchas to worry about? The car in question is a 2018 Mercedes GLE. Mileage kinda high, right around 60k. Rear tires are new but mismatched...long story. Otherwise, as far as I know, the MF is tip top.
  20. Since I'm forced to watch MD/MSU, can someone explain why the visiting team is wearing white?
  21. But only publicly. Behind closed doors ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
  22. She must have been home schooled. Everyone who learned this in a classroom had to have at least one clown who thought he was being original with the 'pie aren't square, they're round' joke.
  23. I know, right? I trust these folks to cut open my chest, take out my heart, put in someone else's heart, all while keeping me alive, then pumping me full of drugs so my body doesn't reject that other person's heart. But I won't trust them to give me a vaccine, it might kill me!
  24. Gotta make reservations at Bacchanal though. We tried a walk-up, gotta go through their app and ended up at #135 on the list. Said screw it, walked over to Joe's, was seated right away, albeit in the bar area, had a great meal, drinks, dessert, the whole deal, so like a couple hours if not a bit more. Upon leaving Joe's, checked the Bacchanal waiting list and we were at #126.
