Southwest has a fair number of them. You can’t go to one of their bases without seeing at least 1 or 2 on a gate.

There may be s problem with the plane, but I tend to agree with phd. SWA is flying them 5-6 legs a day every day and not crashing them. It could be that they haven’t run into some sinister killer flaw yet. Or it could be that they are better trained and maintained. Or it could be something else. Time will tell.

Well, in the Sheriff's defense, the man they arrested looked foreign and shared a surname with a woman who happened to be registered as an owner of a vehicle that was in the same neighborhood as a massage parlor.

And said surname is one of the most common amongst those brownies.

I fucking despise the people that stand six inches away from the elevator door and try to get on before anyone has had time to exit.

I love both of these.  It's the only time I get to legitimately shoulder check someone.  Funny thing is, not one of these idiots ever complains about getting checked.

I think this is huge for the program.  Herman has indicated he doesn’t want to call plays.  I think he did last year because he doesn’t trust Beck to do it. Combine that with Herman not wanting to fire anybody and this may be the next best thing - bring in an experienced offensive mind and see if him and Beck can somehow figure out a way to call plays.  Maybe we’ll see both of them in the press box next year.

Are analysts allowed in the coaches booth on game day?

So.. the fat free sauce made me chuckle.

I have to fall on my sword though.

I grabbed some refried beans at the store.

I got home and was unpacking. Somehow, I managed to grab fat free refried beans.

That had to be a woman's idea.

Now I got a can I will never eat and don't want to throw in the trash because of waste.

Donate it to a food bank.  Oh, I'm sorry, are serious responses not allowed on this thread?

  7. DVR'd it and watched it late last night.  Yeah, the announcers called him on it more than once, saying the same thing, "why couldn't he have done this when scott was playing?"

That last group was super slow, not just Holmes though.  Thomas reading his greens book while freaking standing on the green.  I don't know how long those last five holes were in real time, thank god I could FF through it.  I mean, I get it, they're playing for big money, but does all that time really help them?  Thomas reading his book on the green certainly did not seem to help.  On 13, he took forever and still 3 putted, albeit from 75 feet.  But he certainly could have 3 putted in a lot less time.  The group in front had teed off on 16 before the final group was done with 13.  On 17, must've taken Thomas 10 minutes to figure out to lay up.  Again, not sure because I FF'd through it.

I just saw a hole in one live on TV.  JB Holmes. can't remember the last time that happened to me.

Last time I can recall...David Toms at a major, must've been the PGA?  I think he ended up winning.  Damn I'm getting old.

Looking for recommendations for Sushi lunch and a great hamburger place for dinner for my trip in a couple of weeks.

    TIA

For sushi and Japanese in general, both Raku and Hachi are good but very popular and dinner only but open until past midnight.  Both located in the "Chinatown" area of Vegas, west of the strip.

Hamburger place?  Where are you coming from, Siberia?  You can probably find a hamburger place anywhere in your hometown that is as good as anything you'll find in Vegas.  I guess you could try Bachi Burger or Slater's, good burgers but I wouldn't go out of my way to grab one.  There's always In-n-out [ducks].
