Yeah I've been looking into it and it might not be so bad as we'll probably spend a lot of time eating and getting drunk. Hopefully the worst thing I'll have to do is watch the damn Backstreet Boys, but that was her favorite boy band growing up so it'll be enjoyable enough if she's having fun.
How is freemont street? I booked 4 nights in the 2 story Spa tower suite at Golden Nugget and from my limited research there seemed to be some good dining options nearby in Andiamo, Vic and Anthony's, Pizza Rock and Carson kitchen. I'm sure we'll spend a lot of time hopping around casinos on the strip and doing stuff like the High Roller too.
Also, has anyone seen the Michael Jackson show? Was thinking to make that and backstreet boys the two higher priced shows we see.
There's a steakhouse in the basement of the four queens that is quite good.

Sep 2017 I started feeling a nagging irritation, not even pain, in my right shoulder. I'm left handed. Never had an injury in that shoulder. Initially just felt like something that would go away with a little stretching, light exercise, etc. Got progressively worse, thought it might be repetitive stress injury, but May of 2018 I took a two week vacation and it didn't get even the slightest bit better. Finally got so bad in Oct 2018 went to see a doc, who took an x-ray and sent me to PT.
PT was basically some awfully painful forced stretching, hand behind the back, over the head, etc. combined with weight training and some other exercises. I hadn't lifted weights since I was in high school. Therapist said I better not get arrested because I couldn't even put my hand behind my back without serious pain.
Two sessions a week through December down to one session a week in January and I'm close to 100%.

I never really heard of Jay Hopson so I googled him. This tidbit came out:
"He was a four-time Academic All-SEC honor roll selection..."
How fitting for a total and complete moron.

Worse than back in parkers are fuck heads who pull through to park in angled spots. Then their dumb ass pulls out against the flow of traffic.
Actually, the WORST are the total morons who back into angled spaces.

Just finished the NetFlix version. Here's what I don't get. Correct me if I'm missing something. The festival was conceived as a way to bolster the Fyre app. (1) How much demand could you possibly get for the app? How many folks need to book talent for corporate events, rich kids bday parties, whatever? I've worked for companies in the past who needed talent for marketing events, and it was pretty easy to get a list of who was available and their price. Actors, bands, comedians, whatever, I remember looking at a sheet once and for some reason, all I remember off the top of my head is that John Cleese was available for like $60k. So how much money could you possibly make off the app? A scrape off the performers fees and a few bucks for the user?
(2) How freaking hard could it possibly be to build this app? $2m? Certainly less than $5m for a pretty polished product. How was it possible to get so many investors to invest so much money? Didn't any of them think...hey...it's $5m to build and maintain the app, and yet, in total, they claim to have raised upwards of $30m?

In my 1.5 years at Tech, you knew pretty quickly to stay clear of the KAs
but a KA was in a class of mine and we were in a group project together. He was actually a nice dude.
Well yeah, it's like the old joke I first heard about mormons but later about baptists.
Why is it a good idea to take two mormons fishing?
Because if you only take one, he'll drink all your beer.

each bet has to meet the minimum. so at a $15 table you'll be making $18 bets on the 6/8 and that can get out of hand in a hurry.
my recommendation is to find a $10 table or play blackjack.
On a $15 I'll start at $18/$15 obviously, 2 collects and then the next press is $30 and then follow the system from there. But yeah if those first 2 collects never show, it can get out of hand, it's $48/51 a shot.

It's like the cameraman has no idea who is playing lead guitar. Even on the solo he doesn't get a lot of screen time.

Kansas City an amazing city. I think you should take back the Kansas as the worst state comment when there is Oklahoma..at least.
KC MO is where most of the cool stuff is and if I'm not mistaken the majority of the city. KC KS is boring with nothing but flat land and chain restaurants.

I’d love to think this is the start of a big run and Shaka’s long-awaited Texas turnaround. But common sense just won’t let me go there. Burned way too many times already. Prove me wrong, coach.
This is the exact same team we've seen all year. Kansas just out-shittied us today.

that was an allsome display of ref suckiness. Luckily went in our favor.

Boy...shot clock off, 15+ seconds left, and the best shot we can get is Roach launching a 3. The season in a nutshell.

in a tossup, don't most home teams get favored by a field goal?
That's NFL. 3 points to the home team. NBA is 7 points. I really don't know what it is for college basketball or football. I would suspect it to be about the same.

most people that were held back a grade were 19 when they graduated. being held back isn’t that uncommon.
It's OK bro, your kid's not that bright. Maybe he'll grow out of it.
My birthday is in September and I turned 18 my first semester at UT. Didn't skip a grade or anything like that.

When I was in jr. high, someone brought a dead bat to school. The teacher let everyone touch it. Turns out the bat had rabies, the entire class had to get the shots.
You went to jr high with Ozzy?
