  1. Hopefully Sark told him before the game to not try to scramble or save a play if something goes wrong - throw it away and move on. The fewer hits on Quinn the better while he's still healing. Quinn did jut get that ball and toss it away like he didn't even have to think about it.
  2. Southern Comfort for me. After 25+ years it still bothers me.
  3. I think you left the quotes off of "He holds them accountable. "...
  4. This is what I want to know for certain. The whole "postseason" is screwy in sports. Which records count, which don't, and most importantly which rules carry over. I believe the 4 game thing is for the whole season, postseason included, but I would love it if I was wrong.
  5. I think the worry about Arch transferring was purely if QE said he was staying another year due to injuries and to try to place higher in the draft. I don't see Arch transferring - I think after a couple games he would beat QE out ala VY and Chance if Quinn stayed. That would really hurt QE so I don't believe he stays one more year - he will go.
  6. Keep seeing all these fake news articles on facebook (which is total bullshit) about Arch transferring. Arch ain't going anywhere! fixed it for ya.
  7. I could see that going either way. Bama losing to UGA in CCG probably doesn't drop them out of the top 10. The streaks we broke in Tuscaloosa shine big for NCAAF this year and probably the CFP committee as well. I don't think that will get discounted unless we shit the bed.
  8. We will have played 5 games against ranked teams when all is said and done. So far it was Bama (W), Kansas (W), OU (L), K-State (W), and likely upcoming OSU. Georgia will probably have 5, tOSU 3 or 4, Michigan will only have 3, FSU 3, Louisville 3, Washington 5, Oregon 5, Bama 5, Penn State 3 or 4, and Ole Miss 4. This includes CCGs. I think with our SOC and SOR as long as we win out we should be golden. PSU, Louisville, and Ole Miss I don't think are in it. Washington has 2 ranked games coming up and Oregon has 1, plus both will probably play each other again. FSU has Miami and Florida (and FCS North Alabama) and a CCG. Oregon State will actually play 5 ranked teams as well but they still play Washington and Oregon. Barring a miracle they are out. My guess (in no particular order) is tOSU, UGA, Washington or FSU, Texas. I don't see 4 undefeated teams left, and maybe not 3. Probably just tOSU and UGA.
  9. A full hour full of shit. All they really need to do is something similar to a PowerBall drawing. Put the chart on the screen, announce the order for people that can't see, and go to commercial.
  10. WTH is that - butter on the potatoes and big mac sauce on the chicken-fried steak? And damn that is the skinniest broccoli I've ever seen. Was this pic taken in a hospital cafeteria?
  11. Then that limits his options. If he stays to try to grade out higher he creates a QB controversy that effects Arch and recruits (MM is likely gone anyway). If Arch sticks around he likely beats QE out sometime next year - depending on how stubborn Sark is. If QE stays and is NOT the game 1 starter that could end up with QE grading worse than if he left this year. I see nothing good happening (for Quinn) if he stays this year. My guess is Quinn starts the rest of the games this year and leaves. That gives him the best chance to go in the first 2 rounds, and depending on what he does the last x number of games could bump him up over a couple of the other QBs declaring.
  12. Is it possible for Quinn to transfer a 2nd time and play next year (for a real team and not a G5 or lower)? If he could transfer I could see USC going after him for a year. I can't keep track of the transfer rules anymore.
  13. I don't know if this is verified or not - but it certainly makes sense. I was wondering during the second half if MM was hurt, and I didn't see anything that was obvious in that game. Then it hit me - if he was in pain before the game they would've given him a muscle relaxer like Flexeril, or a pain injection of some type. It would've worn off during the game with all the physical activity, but it would've been too early to give another injection at halftime. At that point the trainers could've done a massage, ice bath, or used a TENS unit on him. None of those would last through the rest of the game. The bad part though is back pain never really does away. Even if you have surgery to fix the issue it will come back eventually. Source - I had a C5-7 fusion in 2000, and my tailbone (which was crushed while in the military) was removed in the 20-teens. Back (and neck) pain sucks bad.
  14. Perfect time to find that aggie and bet on Texas over KSU in the LHN replay.
  15. As long as there is no coin flip.
  16. If that is the case, better call Paul (Finebaum). He seems to be the mouthpiece - let him do it.
  17. His mother probably just told him that loss cost him another million or two dollars.
  18. So Cleveland it is!

  20. Maybe Jimbo should go out and get himself a DUI tonight? Under the influence of huffing his own farts that is. Sumlin would be PISSED if he was sober.
  21. I think we could drop 1 because of Bama beating LSU. It wouldn't surprise me. Even though we beat Bama, and beat a ranked team they beat a higher-ranked SEC team. I can't read the playoff committee's tendencies yet, so we may still get lucky for beating Bama head-to-head but Oklahoma beat us head-to-head and it didn't help them.
  22. Sorry about the unwarranted ptsd. But yeah you're right about MM's supporting cast. You could also be right that some of them are high.
  23. At least not without Stutsman...
  24. It was awful, but what was that game that our QB got booed off the field (and I don't think he ever came back)? Was it Gilbert?
  25. Or even the great Eddie Murray from the Orioles. He's still only 67yo. https://www.mlb.com/player/eddie-murray-119579
