  1. Well he didnt have his personal shit together and as a result we "almost" made the playoff this year. Based on his body of work I'm good with one of those, but if he has two years in a row of off the field bs that appears to negatively affect the team then I'm pretty sure he wont get a third strike. Could be wrong. Also, he would have to try pretty hard to create a mess that matches this last one. I actually feel bad for him in some ways, and I bet there's a good chance it was a needed wake up call for him. It looks to me like he's getting us back on track.
  2. The guy continues to put out hilarious content. What a hall of fame shithead. He epitomizes the aggie honor code.
  3. How do you think we pay for that roster advantage? I'm not saying he should or shouldn't be fired in that scenario, I'm saying I don't think the money would continue to back him, which means he would be gone. Are you under the impression that someone besides them would be making the call?
  4. You're talking about millions of donor dollars being completely wasted on the Arch era if we miss the playoffs again. The conversation will be do we want to commit millions more to this guy or do we want to start this next cycle with a new name of our choosing? I don't see whats silly about that considering we are sitting at home this year watching a bunch of teams we would most likely beat. I'd bet we are top 3 preseason again next year. Sark would likely be toast in that scenario and I don't see what is silly about that.
  5. Yes. This is the NIL era, and if Sark misses the playoffs two years in a row because of his own incompetence then I think the $$$ will replace him. I dont think its going to happen though. Sark messed up bad this season and still almost made the playoff. I also think it would be nearly impossible to replicate the shit show surrounding Sark's personal life, but who knows. The guy is a self destructive fuck up and has been for a long time. I think we will field a better roster all around in 26, have a strong campaign, and move forward with Sark for the Dia Bell cycle.
  6. Im not worried about the portal. I think we will have a roster built to win the SEC. I worry more about Sark doing what makes sense as a coach vs wanting to execute his dream offense.
  7. Whats the definition of hot seat? If he has a repeat of this season next year then I think there's a better than 50% chance he's done. I just don't think anyone believes that is going to happen, and I don't think Muschamp would jump on board if Sark had half support. I think we are about to see us make significant upgrades in the portal and I think most can see that Sark recovered from his various fuck ups and has the ship pointed in the right direction. Combine that with his skins on the wall from 23 and 24 and I think there's a clear argument that its much smarter to double down for Arch's last season then formally inject doubt in the whole operation. I also think the "hot seat" works differently in this era. You do what you can to convince everyone your coach's seat isnt even warm because you want everyone to feel confident about investing. If Sark squanders Arch and his offense continues to underperform then I think one night he will go to sleep with his seat ice cold and wake up to find its covered in napalm. I wouldn't bet on that scenario at all though. I think 26 is a major bounce back.
  8. This was the worse half of football by two teams I’ve ever seen.
  9. Sark's comments surprised me. Thats not something you say about someone you like, and I think its a dick move to do it right after you throw PK onto the open market (assuming he hadn't already found a landing spot). Admitting you dont even want to be on the headset while your team is on defense, just so you can focus on one side of the ball? He's backed into a corner now. His offense better look improved.
  10. I bet OB hates the move because Muschamp hates Ketch.
  11. I think he's dialed in because he knows how close he got to fucking up his life again.
  12. We would beat both of these teams. So frustrating.
  13. A younger guy who coaches at another school but went to Texas heard Flood and Akina were done. He's also very excited about Muschamp.
  14. Yea I think that tracks with the OL problems at least partially being his fault. I'd heard back in the first part of the season he and Flood were butting heads a bit but it was just a vague statement along thiose lines. For all I know they were arguing about the best bbq spot in town.
  15. Yes but Im not as confident anymore that Flood is getting replaced. I dont know this, but just based on other things Ive heard about Sark and the offense, I think Sark is very involved with the OL and some of our woes are due to Sark overruling Flood at times. Again, thats speculation on my part and Ive been waiting to hear if thats the case or not. I think to really know it would take someone on the staff leaking out dirty laundry and it seems like that doesnt happen much surrounding football stuff with this staff. I still think theres a good shot Flood is gone, I just dont think its the slam dunk some others do. Imagine if Sark and Flood were disagreeing on stuff and Sark overruled him and its obvious that was a big part of our dysfunction. Would make it a little tough for Sark to cut his head off when the rest of the staff and probably the players knew it was Sark who caused the issue.
  16. Georgia buddy thinks this was a fantastic move for us. He thinks this was in response to Kiffin at LSU and that Muschamp has Kiffin's number. He thinks there's a chance UGA lost a bit of their edge this year (outside of playing us) because Muschamp was less involved. He also thinks Atkinson is a super star and that Muschamp is a great fit to get the most out of him.
  17. Sark fell asleep at the wheel. I thought it was obvious he couldnt believe what he was seeing the first half of the season. He doesnt get another one of those and I think thats what this about. He wants Muschamp to bring some juice. He's trying to raise the bar to beat Georgia.
  18. I heard Cal for Lefau.
  19. Its amazing how little Kiffin cares about other people and their opinions. Its pretty unique. Guy really flirts with going from socio to psychopath.
  20. I highly doubt thats the case and already said anyone who has an affair with a married person and kids is a pos. But to really make any kind of informed judgement on the situation we need more than just the fact that it happened and went on for two years and she turned over the texts. For all we know he used his position in all of these compromising ways and grinded her down into making a mistake. Or she couldve totally targeted him and said she will use her wiles to enter a relationship with him and leverage that to get things she wants. My point is we have no idea across the whole spectrum, yet we have people in here defending both extremes.
  21. Am I missing some report where the details of their affair from start to finish have been posted? How in the fuck can you argue one way or another about each persons culpability or responsibility with as little information as we have? Right now the best we can do is say he's most at fault because he was her boss. There's 1000 data points that could affect the dynamics between the two of them. We have like 2.
  22. It makes all the sense in the world Baugh would be a priority for Sumralls initial NIL roster. Obviously I would take him but I'm still stuck on the Kewan Lacy idea.
  23. We played at Clovis when I was in hs. The second we got off the bus you could just tell you were in a very different place, not in a good way. It's like the air was dead. The visitor locker room was unbelieably shitty and likely crawling with staph. We go out to warm up and the Clovis players were like a completely different species of human being. You could tell they had already done more manual labor than we would do in our whole lives and we were a blue collar team .Their teeth were all fucked up, and I swear they all had a look of hatred in their eyes, not just for us but just in general. They kicked the ever living shit out of us. Perfect example of a game that was over before it began.
  24. My guess is the $$$ will decide if they want to start a new cycle with Sark and Dia Bell after next season. If Sark doesnt make a playoff run I'd bet he's gone.
  25. Sounds like Adidas is well ahead in this department and being much more aggressive than Nike and this is the beginning of a Nike response to keep their schools happy.
