  1. Drumm really is awful. He’s been saying that Ohio St will have several flips to OU once Caleb Williams commits. After hearing his voice for the first time, I can see why he’s in the recruiting journalism profession.
  2. Let’s hope he does in a few years. The roster is atrocious right now, but it’ll keep improving.
  3. Jaden Nixon, a RB from Frisco Lone Star, just committed to Oklahoma State. He looks pretty fast in his hudl and has a 10.62 100m time listed on his 247 profile. I trust their RB coach, John Wozniak, to identify unheralded RB prospects more than almost anyone in the country. https://247sports.com/Player/Jaden-Nixon-46098676/ http://www.hudl.com/v/2CeT2M
  4. Knox just got Fong’d to Mississippi aggy. Also, Kaidon Salter got Fong’d to Tennessee. I guess they’ll finally get their coveted TXHSFB QB.
  5. I think it could happen if he gets drafted into the perfect situation. Both Chubb and Michel were better than him entering the draft. I think Jonathan Taylor has more promise.
  6. They hired a QC coach, Beau Davidson, who’s coached HS throughout SE Texas. Apparently he’s pretty well-liked in the area because they’ll keep getting low 4 star/high 3 star players from the area.
  7. Yeah, they just recently bucked the trend with the newest HS, Bridgeland. I think that school will produce a few high level prospects eventually. Dylan Goffney (2021) might reach that level, but he could end up settling as a G5/lower P5 prospect. QB Conner Weigman (22) picked up a VT offer in January, and they’ve been the first P5 to offer a few fast-rising prospects recently. Arkansas just offered today, and they’re a good indicator too. https://247sports.com/player/dylan-goffney-46058511/ https://247sports.com/Player/Conner-Weigman-46094199/
  8. I think he might be the first FBS prospect from Cy Park (which is fairly new, to be fair).
  9. Alton McCaskill, a RB from Conroe Oak Ridge, has finally started reeling in offers. I watched his hudl a few months ago and was impressed, and it helps that John Wozniak (a very good RB coach for Ok State) identified him early. Texas should offer ASAP. https://247sports.com/player/alton-mccaskill-46084459/
  10. Nelson/Frank Jackson is one cold-hearted motherfucker.
  11. It doesn’t necessarily impact Texas, but Rutgers is making headway with essentially every top player in NJ. Elko and Robinson will have to deal with Schiano and Chris Partridge at Ole Miss as well. It seems like aggy has counted Tywone Malone in their class for about half a year because of Diggs and Robinson, but the Bergen mafia is tougher to tap into than that of Camden.
  12. I think they'll prioritize flipping Jake Garcia from USC.
  13. https://247sports.com/player/drake-maye-46054754/ Mack flips one of the top QBs from Bama. They'll be the #2 program in the ACC soon enough.
  14. He'll probably end up at Clemson, but LSU and Penn St have good shots. I think LSU mods said they led recently iirc.
  15. I think he ends up at Ohio State if they push, but I doubt that happens because they higher priorities. He's probably wide open, and Schiano needs to land him and other in state targets badly if he wants to get out of the B1G cellar. I think Texas has a good chance if they recruit him like a priority.
  16. OU has won five conference titles in a row, and some of y’all are casually discounting them? Compared to Texas, they’ll have a better OL, DL, LB and WR corps. Because of the o line and receivers, Rattler and their running backs could at least look better Sam and Keaontay et al. Honestly their DBs might be better too; they played better than Texas’ last season. Riley is a better coach than Herman and has done a better job of constructing their roster.
  17. Saban started talking like a truly old coach this past season in my opinion. I know they had a lot of injuries and went through a lot, but he just seemed especially exhausted.
  18. I think Ohio State and Clemson are his top two.
  19. I noticed that when I was looking around the standings. Hopefully Cronin can keep improving the team; I've always liked UCLA hoops as opposed to Duke, Kentucky, KU, and UNC.
  20. It'll be interesting to see which schools Oregon has to fend off if Cristobal continues to develop them into a consistent power.
  21. To be fair, Flood did well as an assistant under Schiano. It’ll be interesting to see how he does in Tuscaloosa compared to their former OL coaches.
  22. Kyle Flood is Bama’s OL coach now. Fuck that guy for starting Rutgers’ descent into football hell.
