  1. Here is a summary from this guy’s text. Key reasons why, according to him, RU forces are unsuccessful in Bakhmut: - Overcrowding of units on the frontline - too many units crammed into a small area made organizing a proper defense difficult. The more units command pushed in, the worse the chances of stable defense became. - Lack of rotation and rest for units - some units had been stationed there for months, losing 2/3 of their personnel and equipment. New arriving units had no time to dig in or build defenses before coming under fire. - Poor morale and lack of will to fight - many units are simply morally suppressed and waiting for their turn to retreat. Panic sets in easily and many flee at the first sign of heavy shelling rather than stand their ground. - Poor middle management - some commanders act inadequately, failing to inspect positions or lead their men. When crisis hits, junior officers have to take charge. - Lack of coordination and communication - units with different communication systems crammed together, artillery support not coordinated properly, commanders out of touch with situations on the ground. - Failure to utilize resources - heaps of unused equipment left lying around, units unwilling to dig trenches or set up defenses even when means are available. - Poor training and preparation of mobilized troops - some mobilized reservists did not even have basic first aid training or kits after months of supposed training.
  2. Just to play devil's advocate, Moore hasn't played a snap yet so it's not like he's been proven wrong so far

  6. Good point about the Jompson Brothers sound. I hadn't made the connection but can't not hear it now. I feel a little different about Cauthen. His over the top stuff is fun, but could really go for another couple of earnest songs like Angel.
  7. Thoughts on the new Chris Stapleton song White Horse and Paul Cauthen's Desert Woman?
  8. 🚨 🧵 Source to Osechkin: Wagner continues to silently recruit through July 28th. They are telling the recruits the goal is to advance 700km inside Poland over a 2 week operation. Note: I think this is a classic FSB operation to stretch Poland's resources. They won't invade but Poland & NATO will have to waste energy and money just in case.
  9. I think this coupled with IT sending someone to cover the commitment ceremony tells you how confident they are.
  10. What kind of history do they teach in Russia? "[The aggressive policy] resulted in the national tragedy of 1939, when Poland was left by the Western Allies to be eaten by the German war machine and effectively lost its independence and statehood, which was restored to a great extent thanks to the Soviet Union." - Putin. Has he really never heard of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact?
  11. His wife reported it too
  12. I think it's worth quoting the article in full
  13. Exactly, I think this $9.95'er just got Hamm'ed
  14. Yesterday the Russian media spread information that 200,000 Lancet drones have already been produced for the Russian army and soon their number will reach one million. As it turned out : These incredible figures were taken from a quote from Star Wars that was carelessly cited by a patriotic channel. In reality, by the beginning of July, Russia had about 50 unused Lancet drones.
