Sure. But if Trump made the deal work why did the trumpiest of all the House members vote against it?

I didn’t say that’s what’s going on, I’m just saying I could support a reverse psychology subterfuge if it works.

Honestly if we have to give Trump credit for sane ideas to get shit done so be it provided he’s not re elected. it’s kind of a form of reverse psychology.

credit to Trump, he really was the one who shed light on the fact that MTG is a loud mouthed idiot.

credit to Trump, he really is the one who proved a strong NATO is the best defense against aggression.

credit to Trump, he really is the one that insisted vaccines save lives.

I’ll do it all day long if it works.

Gilbert is an upper middle class suburb with a decent Mormon presence.  Apparently, kids are jumping people at in n outs and the mall.  When I was a bored teen I turned to heroin.  🤷‍♂️https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13292811/Arizona-teen-gang-Gilbert-Goons-preston-lord.html

Heroin? Damn dude, I thought I was off the deep end my senior year splitting a sixer of Zima and a joint with a friend at lunch before strolling into Ms Pierce’s art history class.

  4. We bought a used receiver and plugged it and some speakers we’ve had sitting around for a while for the kids TV in the den. Stretched its legs with some Spotify through the TV app. Got to a Brandi Carlile song and she popped up on the 70 inch TV…

One client is a NZ company. They do a lot of environment work in the South Pacific. Owner has been working there for about 40 years and says the damage is real and getting worse. His big bitch. Micro plastic and chinese fishing boats, or raiders as he calls them.

The oceans in the south are a quantum leap better than in the north, but again no where is unscathed.

We’ve dove reefs down there that are still super healthy and unbelievable how much life is there. The Caribbean reefs are trashed. Florida reefs are about to disappear.

I know shit is bad, but I’m an optimist so I’m going to share good news and enjoy it for what it is, hope that while it’s too late for a lot maybe it not too late for all of it.

This is great, but very misleading. This impacts the tourist trade. Not the water around the island. I lived there in the early 1980's for three years and was at the beach every weekend. All over the island. Reefs were pristine, lots of fish. Went back in the 1990's quite a bit. My brothers live there. It was night and day and has only gotten worse. Some areas, where the resorts are have maintained some beauty, but it is not the same and doubt it will recover.

Santo Domingo is filthy. The two rivers do nothin gbut push waste into the water. You DO NOT swim in the city. I mean NEVER. No one does. Puerto Plata is going in that direction.

So don't want to be a downer, and as I said, this is great. But it is a band aid when amputation is needed.

I’ve spent enough time around to be under no illusion these moves are starting from a position being ahead. The Caribbean especially is turbo fucked.  South Pacific not so much. But everywhere is playing from behind at this point.

Exactly. The only argument I see being made against it is it sets a bad precedent, as in another sovereign nation could do the same to us. First of all, we would never have significant assets parked in a country who would do that to us on a whim. And if some nation did it because we unlawfully invaded a third party sovereign nation they would be justified in doing so.

Yeah I worked through the precedent concern pretty quickly too.

  8. I’ve actually seen quite a bit of good news re EVs (growth rate is down but the growth is still incredible), solar panel production, microbes to reduce methane in agriculture, ocean clean up, river clean ups.

I mean if the core of your political argument is that people like you instinctively have idiotic political opinions, perhaps you shouldn’t share your idiotic political opinions.

Put another way, just because YOU are a bat shit crazy woman doesn’t mean WE all are…

wait, that might not go over here as well as it sounded in my head.

  10. Holy wow Batman. That’s idiotic. Men start wars, men kill people, men rape women, men kill pregnant women, men enslave men. We’d be better off if women were subjugated to men?

    holy fucking wow.
