Ethan is going to play in the pros, not sure if he's a first round talent yet.  He has the frame, the length, the motor, and the quickness to be high round draft pick.  Texas lists him at 257.  If he can get to 270, the dude is going to be projected high.  This was his first year starting and he made some big plays against some good teams.  Hell I remember him abusing the Bama OL multiple times.  What a great evaluation by the staff.  Dude was heading to Michigan before the Texas offer so that should tell you what Harbaugh thought about him.

Those are considered some of the best edges in the league. They range from 252(TJ Watt) to 280(Joey Bosa). Right now he's toward the lower side but he was only a sophomore in college when that was taken. Another 5ish lbs with his frame could be easily added on but with his height and arm length it's not necessary really. To top it off he's only played football for 3 years, if I'm not mistaken before he enrolled at Texas.  He's one of those measurables types that has his best football ahead of him IMO.

College Stats - As you can see some were beast from the get go(Myles Garrett) and some had a season or two before they took off(Aiden Hutchinson). I expect huge gains from Burke in year 3. If he can achieve double digit sacks that will propel his name and game for the draft IMO.

Because it seems like we play them every week(NFL-chiefs fan), if we can continue get Burke to look and play ANY little bit like Maxx “f that guy” Crosby, I will be so gruntled. Last year there were some plays that made me think 🤔 hmm he remind me of someone. Maxx seems to directly impact 30-40% of the plays, if not more, is hopefully schemed against in the second half or before, and is always doing “sweat-like” things even if he doesn’t have a good rush-batted balls, chasing down backs, forcing awkward throw, etc. If Ethan can get a little bigger in his upper body, well and lower too, and keep that grit…he’s a good one that was a Day 1.

Ok, here's a copy of my notes, from the TexasSports website. Tell me which position coach best lines up with Burke's position.

Coach K was Defensive ends last year.  Looks like they might have shuffled titles a little bit.
