I have to be honest, I think Hammond is going to be a first round draft pick. I knew nothing about him coming into the year, but after seeing him play I am buying all the stock. The ACL tear is super unfortunate, but he is legit.

He has all the physical talent but has a long way to go to develop into a consistent passing threat. The main reason we lost to ASU this year is because they were able to just stack the box and dare him to throw and it worked for 3.5 quarters.

I assumed you meant our inherent advantages with regard to the Big 12 as it currently is means we should win the conference every year even without paying players, which would be an absolutely insanely stupid thing to say, but I think that's a reasonable assumption for anyone to make based on the shitty sentence structure, bad grammar, and general "12 year old that stole his mom's phone" nature of your posting.

And yeah, guess what, Texas would "suck donkey ass but for the cash payments", too, unless you are one of the posters around here that labor under the delusion that Texas isn't paying players.

shut up sand aggy.

I blame Leftwich for Hammond's poor showing at ASU (and he does himself now as well).  He had a game plan that was way, way, way overly conservative and it hamstrung Will for most of the game.

It wasn't until he released the parking brake at the end (out of necessity) did Will start to move the offense down the field.

I rooted for UT when you played USC for the BCS championship.

Same here. I was watching it in Seton Hospital with my grandma on her deathbed. She got to see her favorite team win a natty before she passed a few months later.

Coach beard had nothing to do with that...  LOL

Y'all stole our corch, 'member?  heard it 600000 times at least.

Also pulled for UT in the Rose Bowl.

Wanted y'all to beat aggy this season.  That sentiment isn't universal among Techsans, but it should be.

The national media was so up USC's ass, they managed to turn UT into a sentimental pick.  I mean ole Keith  Jackson was practically moved to open weeping in the 2nd quarter, it was so beautiful for him to be that close to Jesus.

and Fuck A&M shouldn't be hard to understand.

If aggy had any say at all, Texas Tech wouldn't even exist as a university. Texas fans can get all haughty about shit, but they've never been "genocidal" when it comes to West Texans getting edumacated.

Fair enough.  I just remember the entire Tech basketball arena chanting Fuck UT the last time we played there and banging on our team buses.

You were playing us.  With our former coach.

Not the same thing.

I will say this... I always pulled for Tceh when they played aggy, not to mention the ass kicking y'all administered to Aaron Rodgers in the Holiday Bowl.  We will forever owe you for that.

The day the BCS pairings were released, Cal quarterback Aaron Rodgers said Brown "was a little classless" for begging for poll votes to help his Longhorns, and that the system was "faulty."

The Longhorns, by the way, beat Texas Tech 51-21 at Lubbock on Oct. 23.

Texas Tech fans mocked Cal with chants of "Overrated!" in the closing minutes.

Oh yeah... I forgot how hilarious this was...

This is why I've always hated aTm and just got perturbed with UT.

Somewhere I have a picture of two Longhorns at the Holiday bowl a few rows in front of me with one hand doing Hook 'em and the other hand doing Guns Up.  That was a fun night.  Then the next day while we were visiting the San Diego Zoo, every Longhorn fan who was there came up to thank me (I was wearing Tech hat and shirt) for the previous night's drubbing of Cal.

I don't think there has ever been a time, before or since, where UT and Tech fans had such solidarity.

Not much respect for Tech out there regarding their chances in the playoffs. I think y'all will do some damage. As Kalani likes to say, "They don't know, but they bout to find out!" Would love to see you win it and it would make me feel better about our two losses this year. Go wreck em.

Our fanbases have common interests...

In 2001 the Texas Tech Red Raiders throw field goal at visitors after beating Texas A&M 12-0. : r/CFB

I am 100% on the Red Raider championship bandwagon. It is hard to put into words how much it would psychologically devastate the aggies I know to be forced to experience a Texas Tech national title in football.

However, one other point needs to be made very clear. Any parent who has a child that had to attend Texas Tech is a failure. If they get the opportunity, they should kill themselves.
