Ha. This is quality shade.

That said, I feel like the “what happened with Steven & 5 in the offseason?” discussion has become sort of ubiquitous and not something niched away somewhere.

This. It has been discussed on virtually every thread for the last month and a half.

The problem is that most of those highly trafficked threads get inundated with the worst posters on this website. It’s a fucking beating trying to read a single page with 15-20 ignored comments from nicole, the burnt orange handle and the druggy guy.

I don’t remember the old shaggy having this many voluminous idiots, but it’s probably hindsight thing.

Speaking of….

Has anyone ever seen BO&W and Bloodworth post at the same time?

The football board was always a descent into mental hell.  It has it's perks though.  The idiocy during the game threads is cheap therapy about how messed up some of those posters lives must be.

To be fair, the rehab innuendo can get lost amidst the deluge of wr cuckolding innuendo.

IT

We’ve already seen two surprising and, again, decisive moves from Sark. Currently there’s a vacant safeties coach position that Will Muschamp will fill. Probably Travaris T-Rob Robinson.

As you know, Chris Jackson does not have a contract for 2026. IT does not expect Jackson to return. If I’m reading this right, Sark is trying to get a bit rougher around the edges, similar to replacing Chad Scott with Jabbar Juluke. One potential replacement we’ve heard is a bit off the radar these days but makes sense from a couple of different angles.

We’ve also caught wind of one potential analyst, at least we think it’s for analyst. Like many of these guys—Paul Chryst for example—they’re good enough to be position coaches. Sark was an analyst himself at one point.

He's also a recovering alcoholic. There's a reason those support groups have mentor type people. That never goes away. Maybe he needed a bit of time with recentering himself considering how much he was dealing with.

I'm trying to recall - and may be wrong - but I don't think I've ever heard him refer to himself as an alcoholic or say that he quit drinking entirely. The closest I can remember is someone saying that he's sober in an interview and Sark didn't correct them. He's talked a lot about being open and honest about his past, which obviously includes severe drinking problems, but that's not the same as self-identifying as an alcoholic.

It probably doesn't mean much either way. A person is who he is, regardless of what he calls himself. I just want to have my story straight.

Masterful no-info non-update from IT. Truly the best in the business at spinning public knowledge into $9.95.

@Park GothicI really don't know sir and you may be right. I just know the man is human and has been through some real stress - the kind that can temporarily break people. I think many of us have seen some of the things I speculated on break strong as granite friends for a bit. Whatever happened (no idea - didn't notice or know), he's back and fixing some things on his staff.

If we could target an OL coach - any ideas from some that know more than me (most of you - I have a buddy that spent years with the 49ers as a OL and knows his stuff is my all) about a target? I want a new safeties coach too. Muschamp is human and will have plenty - don't want him tied up coaching a position. Oversee it all, yes.
