If people in Houston wanted to sport the baby blues they should have fought harder to keep the Oilers around.  UH isn't the Houston Oilers....grow the fuck up and wear your red shit.

Dude, they are tapping into the Luv Ya Blue nostalgia to sell merchandise.

These announcers are clueless, lol.

Most of 'em are, sadly. You'd think a percentage of them would at least try to learn the fuckin' rules, but they don't.

Yep, and they keeping telling Tennessee to piss off.

One of the few things to like about UH.

Well, I like the fact UT let me take a hardass finance class there one summer for 3 hours credit

Have to give some credit to Houston's defense, they have the bend but don't break shit down to a science.

I'm not sure if Tech's offense is fizzling out at the end of drives or if Houston's defense should get all the credit. That said, Houston' D has played pretty darn well, all things considered.

Morton is not my favorite Tech QB, I'll just say that much. I think Hammond is better, right now.

After watching Hammond lead the team at Utah, you're not going to have to twist my arm too much to convince me of that.

Morton is very, very average.

The offense is better with Hammond.

I LOVE blind allegience to the Senior on the roster.

( fuck that bullshit)

They also missed the most obvious OPI of all time on that pass to the end zone lol

And another hand to the face or facemask. But, sure, let's go with the Rig 12 refs fixing the game for Tech.

Guns Up and Horns Up to that Houston coach with stage 4 cancer. Keep kicking its ass, dude.

Yeah that was a great gameday story. Usually they suck and/or are stupid but that one was awesome.

That kick catch interference call was one of the worst calls I've ever seen

I was curious about this play, so I watched the replay of this call with a friend of mine who used to be a CFB official (D2) and he said that the call on the field was actually correct by rule. Fair catch was called, so by rule the returner has to be given a chance to catch the ball and he can't be touched until the ball actually touches the ground, even if it's actively being bobbled/juggled.

The Houston player clearly tried to lay a hit on Eakin while he was bobbling the ball so the personal foul was actually the correct call by the officials. It definitely looked bad at the time and is probably a bad rule but it is what it is.

I have been completely cool with UH and Rice both bringing it back. The Texans might get some points in the 'pro's' column if they rolled the colors out there in some tribute to the oilers. It's part of the fabric of sportsdom in H-town.

Fuck the Titans. Build your own legacy, motherfuckers.
