Got tix for Tulsa before they announced the San Antonio show, but that’s fine as I’d rather see him in the smaller venue. It will be my seventh McCartney show.

I honestly wasn't crazy about the first hour of the show last night, but then he played Blackbird, and I just completely melted.

He could play chopsticks for 2 hours, then play Let It Be, and it would be a great show.

He has aged a lot since we saw him in 2019.  In 2019 I thought he looked great.  Last night, I thought he looked great for his age.  I'll bet this is his last tour.

If you have a chance to see him, do it.

Was there for the sound check and then the family joined for the actual show. We figured this was his last tour so we ponied up for great seats right up front. Both sets were fantastic. Beau is right, his age is catching up with him, but he still sounded great and the show (although very scripted) still delivers all of the emotions, memories, etc. My wife and sang and danced our asses off, at times the kids were into it and most of the time they were embarrassed by their parents, as it should be. Macca is such a legend, playing every instrument at his disposal and just creating an atmosphere for everyone to forget about all of the bullshit for a while and just have a great time where everything is actually okay for 3 hours. We had a great damn time.

that was my first time at the alamodome, what a terrible venue. the other 2 times i've seen him were at outdoor venues and i enjoyed those much more. echoey sound and the lack of fireworks was kinda shitty. he stil puts on a hell of a show for an 83 year old but i think he's lost a step since i last saw him 6 years ago. never gonna complain about seeing one of the best ever play for almost 3 hours, but more than likely not gonna dish out the money to see him again.

i asked one of the beer vendors if there was any place in the arena that sold better beers...she laughed and said, "sorry, san antonio is not on that level".

A few photos from the Denver show a couple of weeks back. First photo is from the soundcheck, which was cool. He played a few rarities (Every Night and I Wanna Be Your Man were highlights) and he had a really mellow vibe. Other photos are from our seats during the actual show. We had a great time. As I said in the other thread, for that 3 hours you can forget everything going on in the outside world and just feel good about life. Highly recommend.
