  1. So much this. Also, soundtrack was on point. So pissed I didn’t see this in the theater.
  2. The text messages he sent to Janel Grant. [emoji15]
  3. McMahon series is great. I haven’t kept up with that since the 80s and now I feel like I’m completely caught up. I had no idea about 90% of those storylines and “eras”. The WCW stuff was interesting. They pull very few punches on Vince imo - for a show that features him. I think the bigger point was - does the fan base care? No.
  4. Society maybe? Tusk?
  5. This is your Godfather
  6. Speaking of Demi - just got out of The Substance. That was the wildest shit I’ve seen in the theater in years. If you are in to body horror at all - it’s a must see. Demi looks great and Margaret Qualley - good lord. Andie McDowell’s daughter.
  7. I enjoyed this just fine. It’s another pretty good horror movie with a Hollywood ending that I won’t remember really in a couple years. The original wasn’t an amazing movie either - but I will always remember how I felt after I watched it. Brutal.
  8. Just another reason they should have known right off Brody was a traitor. Nobody cheats on her with crazy Claire Danes.
  9. I think this is how I’ll rank and tier recent horror although it changes often. 1-13 were great. Longlegs Alien Romulus Strange Darling The First Omen Abigail The Devil’s Bath Cuckoo Oddity Exhuma Immaculate A Quite Place Day One In a Violent Nature Lisa Frankenstein I Saw the TV Glow Trap Maxxxine Lowlifes Arcadian Horror in the High Desert 3 Tarot Under Paris
  10. I said the same thing to a buddy. “Strange they casted an actor for Wyatt that looks like Johnny Ringo”.
  11. Wyatt Earp series was great. Anyone tells you Tombstone was Hollywood overdramatizion - I’d say they toned it down lol.
  12. AMC A-List is an awesome use of $20/month. I get 12 movies, discounts on guest tickets (certain days), points to use, etc. Dolby at Clearfork in Fort Worth is a great screen. Loud as hell for us old fucks that can’t tell what people are saying.
  13. “Shockingly good” is a solid description.
  14. He was brilliant on MITM so I knew he had major chops - but I’m not sure anyone expected that.
  15. Yo Gabba Gabba reboot? Shiiiiit. My kid was obsessed with this back in the day. Don’t bite your friends.
  16. Very sad. She was on another level talent-wise. I think her parents had her doing standup at 10. Wasn’t the rumor she had a kid with that Nickelodeon fuck?
  17. If Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar isn’t a cult classic then what are we really doing here.
  18. Another film I put in the same category as Burn After Reading is The Informant. Didn’t blow me away the first time I saw it but I’ll watch it every time I run across it and enjoy it every time. Mark Whitacre, Secret Agent 0014. Because he’s twice as smart as 007.
  19. Forgot about this movie. Damn.
  20. Good call. “That’s what they say, war is gross.”
  21. WTF?!? 100 in a decade? How is that not more widely known. That’s a huge number.
  22. I was going to ask for the #TLDR for what CrossFit is to those of us that never really found out - but this is probably a pretty good summary.
  23. Burn After Reading is hilarious
  24. I went to see it again last night and holy shit I laughed harder than the first time. No way did I think I would be admitting it’s the best of the three. Adding Jackman to the team as the straight guy is just too perfect, pushes it over the top. I did think it lost some momentum towards the end - but nailed the landing.
