  1. I don’t know how this got by me - because I try to watch any documentary of note - but there is a doc on Max called “Life of Crime 1984-2020” that is one of the realest and grittiest docs I’ve ever seen. The guy spends 36 years with three career criminals. There are Parts 1 and 2 as well if you want to see more content from the earlier years - but the latest “version” is the collection of everything and how it all ends. Absolutely heartbreaking and reminds you of those types of docs HBO used to commission back in the 80s. Absolute can’t miss.
  2. I liked Pelphrey in Banshee as well….
  3. This kid [emoji1787] He’s from Frisco and made the Jumbotron every home game last year. Being chubby and a ginger has a benefit.
  4. Also reminds me of Capturing the Friedman’s. Dude is doing a documentary on a clown and falls in to one of the craziest true crime stories ever.
  5. I agree with this 100%. I use “that’s a stupid fucking retarded toast, you’re delightful” as much as possible.
  6. This BB’s quote was on my dating profile for awhile.
  7. Now watch SNL Murder Durder on YouTube.
  8. Fargo Shawshank A Few Good Men Pride and Prejudice Wind River Best in Show Dumb and Dumber Beaches Double Jeopardy Glengarry Glen Ross Napoleon Dynamite I, Tonya Addams Family Values Jack Reacher Masterminds (no idea why)
  9. Great list - I’d add: The Witch: Part 1 Exhuma The Call Gonjiam The Host The Medium A Taxi Driver Past Lives A Hard Day Forgotten The Good, The Bad, The Weird
  10. F1 with the Dolby audio was epic. I don’t know where you guys are going with all the audience interruptions. People on their phones can happen and I’ve experienced some talking (especially during horror movies) but it’s been pretty rare. My theater of choice is AMC Clear Fork in Fort Worth which might be part of it. Newer theaters are so loud - it would be hard to hear someone talking. Not to mention there is a decent amount of spaces between the rows. The theater experience for me and my family has always been something we love. I’ll pay the costs - keep the doors open. Bring back the boutique theater experience as well.
  11. Injuries are really taking a toll - 2-35 from 3 on the road is rough.
  12. This was one of the biggest out-of-nowhere punches to the gut ever for me. I’ll never watch that movie again.
  13. Repeatedly. She definitely made my fun-level go up to a 93. These days it’s around an 8.
  14. Anyone that doesn’t thing Amanda Peet is hot needs to watch The Whole Nine Yards immediately.
  15. Love this track (updated version with Phoenix is great as well). Was cool seeing them perform it at the Olympics. Angele is a 10.
  16. The first 30 minutes of Bucky Larson is freaking hilarious. Beat that. I also watch Masterminds repeatedly.
  17. Not playing tonight in Dallas. Can you imagine how pissed you’d be if you shelled out 200-300 to go to the AAC and then she sits out? I’m so glad I didn’t buy tickets…..
  18. Tires Season 2. Better than Season 1 imo. So freakin funny.
  19. Bring Her Back was intense and terrifying. Back to back horror releases with Sinners is as good as I can remember.
  20. It’s actually 16 movies a month - they just changed it. I pay $24/month and can see up to 4 movies a week at any AMC theater. Additionally I can skip the concessions line and get discounts (small but they add up) on food. It’s a ridiculously good deal imo. Only issue with me is finding movies I want to see. I live closest to the Clear Fork AMC in Fort Worth - which is a great theater A/V wise but they hate showing anything that’s not mainstream. I don’t even think they had Sinners opening week? Let’s have 12 screens showing Lilo and Stitch or whatever instead.
  21. Better the 3rd time than the first. (Admittedly I have the AMC A-List and I struggle to find 12 times a month I want to see something at the theater). Highly recommend the vinyl.
  22. As I mentioned earlier in this thread ai believe - Diane is one of the best characters in TV history imo. Shelley Long was perfect in that role.
  23. 30-something years of watching Cheers and I just recently noticed you can see the stage curtains in some scenes.
