  1. If you find that idiot amusing, you have a bland sense of humor. There’s no way to spin the idiocy to any moderately intelligent poster, so I am not sure what in the fuck you are attempting here. Congrats on being a humorless square.
  2. I’ve been a few times. It’s cool. I would recommend it to anyone who has a chance to go. We’re about to do Sweet Caroline and that’s what my baseball buddies are here to see. Hell of a game too (1-0 sox vs rays), so that doesn’t hurt. Red Sox fans rate way above Yankees, Phillies and Dodgers fans when I’ve visited. Below Cubs fans, though. Also, fuck Cardinals and Rangers fans.
  3. Back to the “keeping a scorecard discussion”, I’m at Fenway today with my 3 boys. Sitting immediately in front of me is this guy. Notice the empty seat next to him.
  4. You fucking clowns are wasting space here by feeding the known troll.
  5. Bobby’s update today is worth the read. He continues to be very bullish on Texas adding 2-3 more key recruits before August 1. He seems convinced that Sarkisian has a plan and that various other programs, less so. Echoes of the past cycles, but with different dynamics. Some programs have clearly gone from the pendulum swinging away from their bags and being generally poor to now just saying “fuck it, make it rain” without any regard for roster impacts in classes behind or after this one. He also mentioned needing another Safety for the first time. He also set the expectation that he still thinks Texas is going to get another big time DT. I can’t even remember who is still on the radar and uncommitted. Finally, and this is probably just wishful thinking, but having read he and Gerry for years, I think he’s got an insight to the Cooper recruitment that is giving him a lot of confidence. Someone who urgently needs the approval of various ne’er-do-wells on this forum should C&P it for everyone. @BurntOrange&White
  6. Owwww. That really hurt! I’m going to have a lump there you idiot. Who throws a shoe? Honestly!
  7. Ha, no. I ad-libbed once I saw your post. He’s Milton for me now, for reasons stated.
  8. What in the hell does Tom Herman have to do with any of this?
  9. Texas basically handed him to UH. They shit all over ATM to him and his camp, then soft-pedaled being able to bring him in for a visit. I assume they’re looking at UH as one of several quality development programs that they can prey upon when they feel like it in the future. Fritz is an excellent coach and it looks like he and his staff can develop guys. I’m all for it. UH has been a shitheel school to Texas for the past 60+ years, including recently fucking with the plans to add a UT campus to Houston. Never mind bleachergate and all of the dirty shit they’ve always done. I’ll find it very fulfilling if Texas feeds off of their success with regularity.
  10. I was looking at the mock draft (1st round) from a scout on Twitter this morning. Who are our guys that are expected to go from the HS ranks? Cunningham and Fein? He had them like 15 and 16 overall. I lost the post or I’d link it. Also, Liam Doyle has absolute bust written all over him. This dude had the Angles taking him 2nd overall. “Yeah, that’s about right.” I thought.
  11. He’s Milton with the red stapler until he does something at the MLB level to reverse out the dickless idiocy he’s displayed thus far.
  12. The sociopathic sadistic side of me, which is admittedly substantial, is rooting for Matthews to surprise everyone and pick SCar or Miami. The self-preserving side of me that really wants to fucking win at things needs Matthews to Texas. I am not sure how I lose today.
  13. This Matthews guy is going to have a whiff rate of like 45% in the bigs. He’s going to have us yearning for Chris Carter and Eric Anthony contact levels. Also, this Milton guy is trending towards 6+ weeks of missing time due to a fucking ankle sprain? Where is that on the scale of weak-willed men? Somewhere between Jimbo Fisher cuckholdry and Timothy Upham? JFC.
  14. I played against Anderson in HS. We scrimmaged them every year before game one. He covered me when we were seniors. I assumed he’d have done well at CU, but I don’t remember seeing him play much. Good shit talker on the field though.
  15. You’re really into that Spiegelman update, aren’t you? I’m not ready to be hurt again.
  16. South Carolina is going to start out ranked and close the season as a dumpster fire. Should be interesting to see how it shakes out for them with that in mind. Sellers basically lost all of his surrounding help and it’s even worse for Stewart on the defensive side.
  17. I’m traveling but can try to help. If someone wants to post a concise list of questions, we can get them answered. Don’t be a fucking idiot and ask anyone to predict the future. If there’s a basic couple of things that need clarity, they can get answered and we can post them. Maybe @RGBIII can help out if he’s not as out of pocket as me for the next week.
  18. There is nothing wrong with the ledge.
  19. I went Rage rather than Neg. I’m not seeing a path to top 5 at this point.
  20. I assume he’s going to OU. Kind of crazy that Florida isn’t in the final 3 since many thought they were neck and neck with OU.
  21. At WR, they're having to account for retaining: Wingo, Lockett, Ffrench, Terry, McCutcheon, and Mosley for the 2026 season. They have 3 WRs that they like already in the fold. If McJaggerson, Niblett, Butler, any, some or all, also turn out to truly be contributors, that's 1-3 more guys on the payroll. Paying a premium for a 4th guy who is very, very unlikely to contribute as a freshman with that lot in front of them, just doesn't make any sense. I see the logic with putting a defensible offer forward and standing on it. If a legacy can't make that work because they need to grab another $500k elsewhere, fuck'em and move on. Honestly, I'm not sure putting as much of a commitment on the last cycle's signees at WR makes a ton of sense either, but they got into a feeding frenzy. Another thing of note is that Moore, McJaggerson, and McCutcheon were the cheapest guys signed in each cycle. We know Moore is a starter who was a big contributor last year. We all know we're being told that Jaggy is about to be a surprise contributor. The staff is telling everyone who will listen that McCutcheon is the most likely freshman to play and contribute early at this point. It's just not clear right now that focusing massive NIL is smart at the HS WR recruit level. I don't think it can be said that is stupid to do so, either. I am glad we were aggressive with Wingo and the haul from last year, of course. Still, I am sure the assessment of this strategy is ongoing.
  22. I took the wife and kids last night to see this. Not a racing fan, and neither is anyone else in my family, but I heard good things and my wife likes Brad Pitt, so, in. I thought it was a lot of fun. I had zero expectations, so maybe that was key, but I enjoyed it and so did everyone else. I know it was 2.5 hours, but it held the attention of my kids for that period of time and that isn't easy to do. Would recommend.
  23. As I've said before about him as well as Finley - Fuck him, his dad, and I hope to be able to laugh at his decision in the future.
  24. From last year's recruiting thread. @bizzle had them at 9-3. It reads like most of us were thinking in the 7-5/8-4 range but a lot you guys were convincing yourselves of ATM beating ND to open the season.
