  1. I do think it is more entertaining when someone doesn't get the joke, than when they do.
  2. Well, well, well. I've posted a thread on the football board thinking about the 2025 passing game. You and every other other Alan Jackson-loving hillbilly on this site can go there and make your bold prediction as soon as you'd like:
  3. The Texas offense of 2024 produced 357 receptions across 16 games for 4,460 yards and 40 TDs. 12.5 YPC is middling (45th) and 279 YPG is solid (14th). Here are the individual receiving stats from last year (Receptions/Yards/YPR/TDs): 1) Gunnar Helm - 60/786/13.1/7 2) Matthew Golden - 58/987/17.0/9 3) Tre Wisner - 44/311/7.1/1 4) Jaydon Blue - 42/368/8.8/6 5) DeAndre Moore - 39/456/11.7/7 6) Isaiah Bond - 34/540/15.9/5 7) Ryan Wingo - 29/472/16.3/2 8 ) Silas Bolden - 23/267/11.3/1 9) Juan Davis - 9/54/6.0/0 10) Johntay Cook - 8/137/17.1/2 11) Amari Niblack - 5/33/6.6/0 12) Jerrick Gibson - 3/25/8.3/0 13) Ryan Niblett - 3/24/8.0/0 Bold is returning. 118 catches/1,288 yards/10.9/10. We know Sarkisian loves to throw to backs and TEs as part of the passing game. We know that last year wasn't the best showing for a receiving corps under Sarkisian. We know that many here believe that the passing game this year, with Manning at the helm, will be more productive than last season. So, put some numbers to it. All of the shittalkers about Jaggy McJaggerson having a big year can now let the rest of us know what they really believe. I've listed the eligible WRs, TEs, and TBs on the roster for 2025 below, with my thoughts on production. QB - I'm betting on 17 games, 5,200 yards and 45 TDs for the QB room. That's all divvied up below. WR: -DeAndre Moore - 48/570/11.9/5 -Ryan Wingo - 60/1,200/20.0/11 -Emmett Mosley - 40/550/13.8/6 -Jaggy McJaggerson - 9/145/16.1/1 -Kaliq Lockett - 24/460/19.2/4 -Daylan McCutcheon - 14/210/15.0/1 -Jamie Ffrench - 20/350/17.5/4 -Michael Terry - 0/0/0/0 -Aaron Butler - 0/0/0/0 -Ryan Niblett - 0/0/0/0 215/3,485/6.2/32 TE: -Jack Endries - 50/600/12.0/6 -Jordan Washington - 14/195/13.9/1 -Spencer Shannon - 0/0/0/0 -Will Randle - 0/0/0/0 -Emaree Winston - 5/55/11.0/0 -Nick Townsend - 8/120/15.0/1 77/970/12.6/8 RB: -Tre Wisner - 37/333/9.0//2 -Cedric Baxter - 20/240/12.0/2 -Jerrick Gibson - 13/91/7.0/0 -Christian Clark - 9/81/9.0/1 -James Simon - 0/0/0/0 -Rickey Stewart - 0/0/0/0 79/745/9.4/5 I see a big year for Wingo and diminishing snaps as the seasons wears on for Moore due to drops and the freshmen gaining traction. RBs are going to be occasionally banged up, so plenty of touches for the top 4. Maybe the freshmen TEs also show flashes while the Endries fella is a very good. I expect almost nothing from Terry as a freshman, and Butler will remain in the doghouse while Niblett continues to have one foot out the door. Anyone else want to take a shot at the numbers or offer their thoughts?
  4. You’re onto something here. We need Helobious to step up and get those forearms back to work. You whine a lot. @Red Five basically ruined this entire site’s outlook when it comes to Gibson. Dude hates that motherfucker. We’re all with you. SC is a borderline pariah here, but he nailed that one post.
  5. I am now absolutely cheering for Texas to go after Estrada. It’s a win-win for this board. If he sucks, we get to mock Helobious. If he’s awesome, it emboldens Helobious to get even more outlandish with his nonsense, and it helps Texas.
  6. Are you saying that Denver Harris' mother might have been a problem, sir?
  7. From a production perspective, Mateer's placement makes sense to me. I get the "but the competition" aspect, but the guy put up amazing numbers. I think he's going to miss last year's mark by a wide margin due to absolutely abysmal skill players (outside of Ott) and a patchwork OL that didn't even get to play together in the spring.
  8. I actually think the list, at first glance, is pretty good. -Sellers at #1 is fine. He's a terrific player. His team is going to suck, so this will wind up looking like a bad rating, but he's a stud nonetheless. -Hill Jr. at #2 is well done and deserved. I think he could be the defensive player of the year. -There are 3 aggie players in the top 25, but only one of them still plays at ATM. Overton, he of the preacher father who Jimbo built a church for during his recruitment, is coming off a good year at Bama and headed for potentially big things. Stowers will be a top 3 round pick at TE out of Vandy in the next draft. Will "The Blanket" Lee is #25 on the list. Manny Navarro is a pretty level-headed writer when he's not discussing Miami. He must have looked at the list and thought, "Oh, shit, I haven't thrown the aggies a bone. I don't want to deal with all of their plaintive bullshit in social media. I need to find someone on their roster. This Lee guy doesn't look terrible, I guess. I'll pick him." -No one in the top 25 for Kentucky, Arkansas, Miss State or Mizzou. Missouri gets a guard listed in the "next 10". -I assumed we'd lazily see Harold Perkins in the top 25, but Navarro was able to control himself to some degree. He put him in the next 10 because, hey, Arkansas is still on that LSU schedule.
  9. The Athletic put out a "Top 25 SEC Players for 2025" article. Link below and, because I think all of you people are just fantastic, I C&P'd into a spoiler the article itself for those who don't want to click or subscribe. Rich text, because that's the way it should be read, and I don't care for you dark mode types one bit. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6448604/2025/06/26/sec-best-players-top-25-sellers-manning-nussmeier/
  10. I just called him and he didn't even sound Mexican.
  11. I bussed tables for a year in college and spent a summer at a plant on the ship channel as a general laborer. I’d have killed to get a job as a valet. Underpaid? Sign 19 year old CTJ up.
  12. Huh? None of us want to do any of that. Why do you guys insist on attempting to relive nightmares?
  13. Ignore Js1. I thought it was a lovely story, and you tell it so well. Also, I don't think I've ever been banned from a valet, so I feel like you've conquered new terrain here.
  14. The Steamboat guy is the most thoughtless of all of the pumpers. I got old enough at some point to just realize that non-critical dumbfucks like that weren’t worth the bullets, put him on ignore, and forgot about him until seeing you idiots quoting him here.
  15. I should have clarified that the part about not getting both Ojo and Turntine is just coming from my inner sarvanash. I haven’t heard that from anyone lately. It was a thing earlier in the cycle though.
  16. Maybe they'll circle back to some spares and still finish with 5.
  17. Apparently, reports are coming out that Lee got tired of hearing about the stupid fucking weather comparisons between Hawaii, a subpar part of the Gulf Coast and the Great Lakes. Also, Texas isn't getting both Ojo and Turntine.
  18. Fong put in a pick for Lee to Michigan. Womp womp.
  19. Sir! On special days in Galveston, you can see your feet in waist deep water.
  20. The Georgia mods today stated that they do not expect Johnson in their class at this point in time. Same for Malakai Lee. They still project that UGA will sign Atkinson, but also acknowledged that things are far closer in landing him "versus other schools" than they expected. Miami fully expects to land Johnson, on the other hand.
  21. Looks like a whole bunch of chucklefucks starting to wander around here, twisting themselves up over the numbers.
  22. "Le'Veon is ready! Le'Veon has got some new moves! Check Le'Veon out!"
  23. "If there's one thing the ol'ball coach knows about football, it's coaching them fucking quarterbacks, ya hear?!?!" GTFO. Spurrier was a complete and utter buffoon when it came to handling QBs. He was truly one of the biggest idiots with QBs to have ever coached the game. Him questioning Sarkisian on that subject matter is a fucking joke.
  24. "If Borba is playing next year, he will have dramatically improved" or some shit in your post above the quoted one. Give us a fucking break. The guy finished the season with an OPS just shy of 1.000. All the takes about Borba being bad offensively and needing to be replaced in the lineup are laughable.
  25. Stop engaging with the fucking idiot troll on the recruiting thread about non-recruiting shit. You're giving him everything he wants and it is bandwidth drain to the rest of us.
