  1. Shocking that he didn't shit talk A&M and say the likelihood of staying in that shit hole were less than nil.
  2. Hey! In seventh grade, we were winning a game and did the Dallas o-line shift throughout our last possession. Maybe my greatest day as a football player.
  3. They were just one win (out of 3) from playing in the SEC Championship Game! One multiple overtime loss killed them. They had a chance to be the first unranked team in the SEC championship and picked to lose by more than three touchdowns. History! It would have been even more historic had they not eked out a narrow win against the Bowling Green Seniors! The Aggie bell cow to championship games this season, Le'Veon Moss says my name is Le'Veon Moss, saved the Aggies with a performance for the ages! Anybody else hear the once sleeping giant yawning, stretching, and scratching his ass with both hands as he rises from the sacred dirt of College Station?
  4. Check into TexAgs, and they'll tell you both that and that all we have is money to attract players.
  5. I was a child in Dallas and grew up in Houston, Carton. I didn't grow up an Aggie, as you apparently did, you fucking poser. I can have more than one team. Deranged shit? Just remember the next time that you start your car, I come from an Irish background, Carton. Other derangements being planned as I type. Damn you!
  6. I'd pay to surgically install the locator for GPS. I'd thought it was like that pirate treasure those idiots are digging for on that island. Betting stories of any kind are death-in-life to listen to. Jerry Jones, Barry Switzer, Deion Sanders in Dallas killed my number two team for me. Bud Shitstain Adams stole number one. I was liberated from the NFL
  7. Murderbot, the tiny books anyway, are a fun diversion with a clever concept. The author puts Murderbot through some interesting experiences where the examination of self awareness is present and, pleasingly, light. You can consider it if you please or just enjoy the ride. The last of the books published so far indicates the writer is sort of stuck. I wonder if she's putting out new material because of demand rather than creative desire. She'll likely have to go deeper to find character development. I love watching the creative process in just about any form. I think I read these soon after finishing The Three Body Problem. Same person recommended the first series and I just discovered the little Murderbot novel(la) on his shelf and loved the idea. A perfect light read and the heavy but enjoyable read of the Chinese author who may just be a genius. I wax. It's been a day of intense concentration, and this conversation is a nice unwinding. @A-Tex Devil, should I check out Micky 17? I know nothing about it. Another fun discovery would be great.
  8. I would also imagine that there is no telling how far downstream victims may have been taken. Grisly days ahead for some unsuspecting people.
  9. It does. I didn't mind the vacation from the Mensah team. They're more interesting on TV than in the books.
  10. Help me find my keys, and we can drive out of here.
  11. Yep, the masturbation calculations was such a young guy sequence. I couldn't stop laughing at this: I'm still laughing now.
  12. Le'Veon Moss approves this motherfuckin' message.
  13. Climb aboard my Aryan darling! You, negro offscreen, stay where you are! AI stuff usually bores me, but nice job!
  14. Limbaugh laid the hate groundwork for everyone that came after, IMHO. Reagan fomented distrust of those entities that help the little guy. Roger Evil Ailes got it mainlined straight into the brains through the idiot box. I think FOX would have been laughed out of existence had it started ten years earlier.
  15. Fighting through cop restraint while threatening somebody else is a bad look. Maybe it's just a single instance in a good life, but it sounds really bad. But, it's apparently not a felony, anyway.
  16. The GOP is a criminal organization. Paxton checks all the boxes.
  17. I'm guessing that 90% are approved because only the wealthy entities can afford to gather the paperwork. Combo of CYA for FEMA and having rich friends. I'm not contesting anything in your post, my friend.
  18. @Chopper answered this above. I was going to copy the same thing. Compliments. Nice neighbor. Quiet guy. Kept to himself. I never had any trouble with him. The annual odds are a non-starter. There's a 100% chance that a killing flood will happen there. There was a guy, curiously named Harry Truman, who would not leave Mt. St. Helen because it had never erupted in his lifetime. He ended up under 40 feet of mud. I clicked a link in the NYT article: (I know that I'm covering @Hagbard Celine territory, but maybe this makes it more vivid.) Thank goodness we only get tropical storms once every hundred years. Here's the final paragraph of the above and the next header: Not nearly enough. Teddy bears and a lone couple hugging and weeping? Of course there were. It's the Tragedy Template! School shootings, natural disasters, wherever people get killed and survivors are sad. It's news! I scowled when I wrote this song Sue me if it plays too long Those sisters are free... https://youtu.be/iac-vLq6tnY Deacon Blues, Steely Dan
  19. I'd never heard of those. Earl Campbell drove a beater.
  20. Typical delusion of grandeur: Do you think A&M is mistakenly hiring a poor staff of assistants? The fact is that you do have to settle for these guys because your HC and school reputation can't draw better than middling coaches. Settling for Elko as head coach after you assumed any number of big time coaches would leap at the chance to "get" the Aggies was a big clue. Everybody knew Fisher was not a great candidate, and look how much you had to spend to get him. A&M shouldn't have to... You got no choice.
  21. Looks his CS bar might have closed.
  22. Johnny Failball?
