  1. I assume you mean Fox, because I'm pretty sure ESPN is not broadcasting the game and Gameday is going to Tuscaloosa.
  2. I think it was announced right after the Alliance was announced because I remember it being one of the first data points that suggested that the Alliance was not worth anything.
  3. I’m sorry, what?
  4. LOL Nebraska - always finding a way to lose.
  5. I'm pretty sure Government, English, History, etc. liberal arts majors are basically just pre-law.
  6. I just booked my flight for next weekend. Still working on getting tickets, but I'll be there one way or another.
  7. Joseph Ossai was still listed as undeclared his final season. https://texassports.com/sports/football/roster/joseph-ossai/9802 According to reports, he wss "looking to major in Arts and Entertainment Technology with a minor in Computer Science"
  8. UT is a branch of the Texas government and thus if the state is racist (which it certainly was), you can bet that the university and football program will be racist as well, whether they want to be or not.
  9. I mean … yeah. Did you not take US History?
  10. “I have always supported states rights when we were talking about things like slavery, but football is serious business.”
  11. I don’t see why anyone would believe that FSU was staying in the ACC a second longer than they have to. If you give FSU and Clemson 20+, that leaves 12 million for the other 14 schools. I cannot imagine UNC and UVA are going to want to be 20 million behind two conference mates when they may be more valuable to other conferences than Clemson. If you include those schools in the extra money, is VaTech and NCState really going to be okay with that?
  12. LHN showed one non-conference game and one conference game every year (basically whichever of ISU/Kansas was a home game for most years).
  13. Sark has done most of those things too, though, right? Sold out season tickets, signed or transferred a large number of highly-recruited players, brought in pretty respected assistant coaches, created momentum that has alums, players, and students excited. The only two he seems to be missing is "chang[ing] the way people will use social media to attract talent forever" and possibly "merchandis[ing] his personal brand.
  14. Maybe that's the plan - join now so they get a 100% share of that billion dollars that FSU/Clemson are going to pay to get out of the GOR.
  15. A&M paying with these bad boys.
  16. Probably not, but they struggled in some games too. They beat 8-4 VaTech by 2 and 8-4 BC by 11. They were the best team, but they were not invincible.
  17. This made me laugh.
  18. But ours is the biggest... https://twitter.com/UTAustin/status/1694028085660659785?s=20
  19. I think USC Traveler is right, unless it’s just a coincidence that ABC did not broadcast any prime time SEC games last season, even though almost none of them were against CBS games.
  20. That’s not a thing anymore. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/sec-passes-rule-allowing-immediate-eligibility-for-intraconference-transfers-starting-in-2021-season/amp/
  21. To be clear, I wasn’t suggesting that ESPN would put the better game on ESPN, I was suggesting that ESPN would have better games because they own a lot more inventory, so they are much more likely to have two good games at the same time than Fox or CBS, and thus conferences with deals with mostly ESPN will have more games on cable.
