  1. I don’t necessarily agree, but this made me laugh.
  2. Looks like the first round will be at home. https://texassports.com/news/2023/10/29/big-12-conference-soccer-championship-location-alteration.aspx
  3. My understanding is that FSU would have to sue the ACC to get their rights back, not the other way around, which is why I do not think things like sovereign immunity would play much of a role here. I suppose an alternative would be FSU to just not worry about getting their rights back and trying to broadcast their rights separately. I cannot imagine FOX or any other major network wants to get into the business of broadcasting games whose rights belong to anyone else - as then it would likely lead to ESPN/FOX suing each other.
  4. FYI - CBS is showing two games that week - LSU-Bama and UGA-Mizzou. No SEC games on ABC and only one on ESPN that week.
  5. That certainly sucked, but in retrospect, given the NFL career Taysom Hill has had, it is a lot more understandable than it seemed at the time.
  6. It had already started turning before that. It was 21-7 at that point. UH had just scored a TD.
  7. Wahoowa!!! LMAO
  8. They really want to make sure UT’s current AD remembers why we don’t play UH anymore.
  9. To be fair, I just turned it on and it is really hard to tell where the court ends...
  10. At the time, the Mets were pushing the guaranteed return contracts because they thought they were getting such good returns through Madoff.
  11. Based on the article I quoted, it appears that ESPN will select the top four games at the beginning of the season and then the two networks will each start picking the next 16 one at a time (8 each). My guess is that the rest of the games will be selected by the two networks during the season. Thunder's analysis suggested that Big Fox would have two Big 12 games on most weeks (afternoon and night), and if so, a chunk of those games are going to be outside of the top 20 Big 12 games that season.
  12. All of that makes sense, but ESPN is getting most of the top Big 12 games, so is Fox really going to be showing two Big 12 games most weeks?
  13. It was for a while, but I think the last few years it has been Baylor, Kansas State, and Iowa State on T+1.
  14. I stand corrected, LMAO.
  15. We’re going to end up needing OU to beat WVU to make the championship game, aren’t we?
  16. Unsurprisingly. No word on whether there will be any temporary seats.
  17. Next, the NCAA is going to look into school's letting prospective student athletes listen to music while on campus. If they bring their own music, that would probably be ok, but the school should not sped resources providing it.
  18. The Judge is ending the conservatorship agreement and the rest of the case will move forward. Nothing surprising, except for perhaps this statement from the Judge: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38520300/judge-ending-michael-oher-conservatorship-tuohy-family
