  1. Bandit is gonna cost me some dollars.

(Trying to put the sheath pic in a "Spoiler" but I'm using the Surly app & not certain if it is working)

    Bandit

has an engorged sheath & this is obv. a field call for the vet.

Will be either Sunset Canyon on 290 or Audtin Equine on FM 150.

Added hassles, we just had a water heater blowout (could have cost $ 3,600 but through some Shag² connections it was *only* $ 1,700.⁰⁰

I cut my L index finger a week ago & finally got a doc visit in today; 5 or 6 days from now we should get the culture back to see what specific infection I have... got a lump of an antibiotic shot in my R hip + a week's worth of Rx's to take (Q12 for one & Q6 for the other).  Numb & throbbing goes up past my wrist.

The hits keep coming... I'm gonna have tears of joy if Bandit's issues cost less than $ 500.⁰⁰

I caught about bigger than pea size but not quite grape size hail for about a total of 7 minutes. What kind of damage do you think that did? Does anyone here know? My roof was replaced in 2016.

    Didn't we do your roof?

Pea?  Negligible.  Grape?  Now we're getting interesting.

    Golf ball?  😍

Let's pretend House #2 is insured by ROFLBOX & C-Man Insurance Company on a non-admitted basis.

Now, say ROFLBOX & C-Man got way out over its his skis and cannot meet claim demands for our my clients. We're I'm non-admitted so the state fund does not help our my clients out.

Whoa, pal... gotta leave me outta that one.

C-man, I need to make a claim on my roof but my policy renews April 9th. Will making the claim now adversely affect my renewal/rate? Should I wait until after it renews to make that claim?

What's the date of loss?  (meaning, what day did the potentially covered peril happen?  Also, what's your zip code?

It's more about what she can fund as a running partner getting their names on all of the ballots.

    And he's not fucking her.

Yes, I heard on NPR today (I think it was "Studio 1A") that for more than a few states, if you don't have a named VP then you cannot be on the November / General ballot.

I've been with Liberty for all of my insurance for 15 years.

    1.  In the Liberty Bibberty commercials, they have the tag line of "Only pay for what you need" when in reality, ALL insurance is "Only get what you actually pay for."

i.e. "You aren't getting a new Cadillac for used Camry money."

    2.  From the opinion of a restoration contractor & insurers we get the most hassles from, "Snake Farm" & "AllSnake" have those deserved reputations within our industry.

    3.  USAA (again, in my opinion) has gone from a "top 3  best" to "middle quality".  They have contracted most of their claims handling to "AllCat" & as a singular example, we are ONLY NOW completing a claim that got started from January '23 (freeze dropped trees onto a house out here in Drip).  We had a repeat onsite inspection with a field adjuster from AllCat & he walked around the property with both me & the insured for 90 minutes with him saying "Yes, I get that... OK, that makes sense... Sure, I can see this requirement..." & then when a re-issue of their estimate came out 2 weeks later (much longer than it should have required), he left off probably 1/2 of what he had prior agreed to on this physical re-inspection & when we were FINALLY done with the paperwork another 3 months later, a claim that initially started out as a ~$ 26,500 cost finished up at +$ 55,5000.

Again, ONLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR & don't expect every insurance estimate to be fully accurate.

I absolutely advise people to call their agent before filing claims these days.

    No, no, no.

Agents typically respond with a lazy "Call & get 3 estimates from roofing contractors".  That's a waste of our time.  Have the customer get at least ONE estimate to start & move forward from there.  Another waste of time is when actually filing a claim (when determined to be valid) is to go through the agent's office.

The agent then calls in, gets a claim #, then returns contact with the insured & provides them with the exact same information the insured could get from their portal, website, app or a direct phone call.

Not really. Well, I did find a used 21' ladder so that should hold for a while. I gotta build a 10x20 shed roof at la Casita. This weekend looks to be soggy, so I'm not sure if I will get up there. Did Big Bend / McDonald star party / Balmorhea for Spring Break.

You DO know I have plenty of metal roof panels that would prob. fit your needs.  No charge, you come & get (78620).
