The Whig Party holds its final national convention in Baltimore. The world's first soccer team is founded in Sheffield. 8. Some interesting updates: 5,000 CFB players have already opted-in to the game in the last 12 hours. That's about 40% of all FBS players. No ability to add in players that opted out via custom player creator (probably a lawsuit avoidance measure on EA's part
  9. The big wild-card is roster customization options. If those features are cut out, then opt-outs have more leverage because they know they can't be replaced in the game as easily. Imagine an Alabama fan hearing that Milroe won't be in the game, and getting stuck with a 6' 5" blond-haired blue-eyed Rico Dynamite or whoever at QB instead. Sales would take a big hit if too many opt-outs like that happen.
  10. 1980s was when people first started hearing about anaphylactic reactions on a large scale. Naturally it caused a panic, and parents' knee-jerk response was to stop exposing their young kids to allergens out of worry, which backfired pretty spectacularly. Allergies were not well understood. Current practice is to introduce kids to allergens at a younger age, instead of giving them an aseptic upbringing.
