  1. UK came in prepped to stop the run and Quinn cut them up very well in the first half and gave us a lead UK could not recover from by half. Play calling was good, run game took off as Quinn did his thing - it was a great game plan and play calling and execution were very good. No, it was not perfect, but this is football, shit is not going to go perfectly. UK's D is no joke, and we made them look bad, but that doesn't mean they aren't capable of making big plays. Overall, we kicked their asses. Enjoy it.
  2. Only 1 sack given up on almost 35 drop backs, 5.6 yards per carry for 141 yards total rushing. Yes, Dallas D is not great, but that's improvement at OL. Blowout W on Monday Night... maybe our first ever? Texans now 90% to win AFC South. All is good. Lots to fix but get to fix while winning and heading to playoffs. Offense leaving too many points on the field, defense still susceptible to big hit plays. Our draft picture is already coming into focus.
  3. Coming off that embarrassment to Philly and more time for their QB to settle in will have Dallas playing above their water level, but there isn't an aspect of the game where we shouldn't outshine them. Dallas gets good QB pressure so OLine needs to make another big step forward. We're good, they're bad. Let's go get win #7.
  4. This right here. Disappointing loss last night but Detroit is very good. 6-4 and in control of division and playoffs. Win the next three, use this time to continue improvement on OLine (4 sacks last night, need to be doing much better, still, but saw some improvement overall), and set our sights for the postseason.
  5. No bullshit, his whole timeline collapse centers around that roadkill he plated. That was Easter 2021. In fall 2021 they got embarrassed by Baylor and then lost Bedlam, and then he left for USC.
  6. Pretty cool that a fan who is clearly watching the NFL for the first time ever is interested in the Texans. "Any Given Sunday" is a very common term in the NFL, keep watching and you will eventually understand.
  7. Kenyon out, then, best pass blocking play of the night
  8. Literally just got hurt by holding a defender and overworking his arm/chest in the act of holding 😬
  9. Kenyon Green is as useful as an asshole on your forehead
  10. Cam Robinson is a LT the Jags let walk for a mid-round pick bc he's 30 and expensive and his best days are behind him. It would've been a good idea for us to not make that move IMO. The well run teams don't show their hands, they say the right things like "yeah Kenyon is our guy for sure" right up until you trade him or bench him. Caserio has earned some trust IMO, let's see what happens.
  11. Hate to be this guy but latest statistical analysis suggests Bryce Young sucks DICK at pro football
  12. Yeah there was some major ref-centric horseshit late but thank gawd they didn't fuck up that downed defender review.
  13. "Just win, baby." Lead in the division is becoming a stranglehold. Colts are clearly the biggest threat, and they've been swept. Need to figure out Green replacement this week, let's hope for good news on Diggs. 6-2!
  14. True, it used to be very common, but it isn't anymore. People have gone away from it for a reason. Fumble chances are multiple times higher than a handoff and very little advantage is gained from it. LBers and DEs are too fast now. Have to block them, can't rely on RB to get some running head start and make the edge anymore.
  15. I HATE toss plays. If you want the RB to run it, hand it to him. I do think homeboy was down but there's a lot of clock left.
  16. If we didn't have Stroud I wouldn't mind the screen like that so much, but the best QBs don't throw that screen - they throw short routes for first downs in wel designed route packages. Need to make Stroud focal point of all third downs.
