  1. The same Davis that took the #1 preseason team to out of the tournament last year.
  2. and not just Abmas or Disu. Shedrick and Weaver have put together a string of solid performances off the bench. 9.6 PPG in 17.8 MPG and 10.8 in 21.4 respectively. If we are getting 20 from those 2 two, we have a rotation that can put 80 on teams with ease.
  3. Of our 8 man primary rotation, only Shedrick and Weaver have never been to the 2nd weekend.
  4. especially if Hunter is being aggressive.
  5. Congrats on your "great" season, enjoy McCasland until a bigger program steals him away and you are stuck in your lot in life as a stepping stone program or where coaching legends go to die.
  6. and Texas was without their best player for the entire OOC schedule, and Shedrick has been in and out of the lineup all season. So, I think your comparision is stupid.
  7. 100% of the board would have been in fulltime agreement that Beard was in several classes above Hurley going into last season. It's amazing what one season can do to change the perception of a coach. Until last season Dan Hurley had 0 NCCAT wins, and had a winning percentage .596 overall.
  8. So you had Dan Hurley as an elite coach before last season? If you say yes, you are fucking lying to yourself. The guy that was trucking along at a .581 winning percentage in his 1st 10 years on the job with 4 lossing seasons and two NCAAT appearences. Even his 1st 2 NCAATs at Connecticut were first round upets. If Dan Hurley was at .608 and two bad 1st round upsets in his 1st four years at Texas, everyone of you fucktwats would be calling for him to be fired.
  9. He rolled his ankle on his last layup. Foot landed on the OU player's foot.
  10. And non-elite coaches win the NCAAT. Just look at everyone's last-season preseason elitist of all elite coaches,Dan Hurley.
  11. Yes, it's very unlikely they jump from 76 to 50 when the Net updates.
  12. We can't take the 6th spot from them, we are locked in at 7. Since BYU beat both us and TCU, they would win the 3-way tiebreaker if BYU lost.
  13. With their win against ISU, KSU will likely be in the Top 75 of the Net, they were 76 coming into the day. That's significant because the Q2 cutoff for neutral court is 75, but the TCU loss cost us a Q1 game against OU in the 2nd round.
  14. Their shooting is suspect, and any team that can get them in foul trouble and keep up with them on the boards as a chance to knock them out.
  15. The dumbest thing in that thread was their belief that Texas was anywhere near the play-in.
  16. When the officials don't give them 42 FTs they aren't so hard to beat.
  17. You mean like blow a 20 point lead in the conference tournament and then lose to Purdue in the round of 32.
  18. Dickinson might have to sit out of the conference tournament, likely dislocated his shoulder late against UH. KU might be one and done in both the Big 12 and NCAAT.
  19. They are the #10 seed, so they would play TCU or us in the 2nd round, and then a potential rematch with ISU in the quarters. If they go 2-1 or better in the tournament, I think they could sneak into the final 4 at-large.
  20. Hunter was aggressive and was driving before the half court defense could get set. We wasn't giving OU and opportunity to set up in the half court, then once he had this confidence he burried the three 3's to ice the game away. When he's aggressive early in the shot-clock he can be this type of difference maker. I think he's going to put up some big tournament games when other teams don't have the athletes to defend him.
  21. Beard has lost double digits in every in single year at the P5 level except two. His runnerup year and his choke a bitch year.
