  1. I like that shirt but the size chart looks weird. I'm usually a medium, but the chart for medium has a 48" chest?!
  2. Lol you offered 3 trades in the middle of the night and then canceled them in minutes.
  3. Basically, except we hadn't sacked RDM before.
  4. Can you imagine if Frank leads us to a Champions League victory? We should be HEAVY underdogs the rest of the way, but it would be freaking hilarious if it happened...
  5. Semien in Round 3. Other options there included Seager, Jazz, Albies. I was always going to go offense heavy, and ESPN seemed to love it as far as predicted roto standings go, but this ain't a roto league or even a best ball league, so that's pretty worthless. I also refused to reach for Astros or injured guys, so I didn't end up with any Astros other then the always injured LMJ, and I knowingly passed on Altuve and Bryce Harper right before the were taken. Might end up having some regrets there...
  6. Only a couple of picks I regret. Not bad.
  7. Worried Judge is gonna fall to me at #3 and I'll have no choice but to draft him.
  8. The Herdez is indeed addictive
  9. Pena getting to a near 10% walk rate would be HUGE
  10. It don't make a shit. Even if Altuve isn't back until the all star break, we'll just beat the shit out of someone in the Wild Card game on the way to our combined playoff no hitter clincher in Yankee Stadium.
  11. Just confirming...we think Ellie is immune NOT because her mom was infected before the cord was cut, but rather because the same knife mom used to kill the clicker was then used to cut the cord, right? If so, it supports the theory that cordyceps+cord blood (stem cells) or cordyceps exposure right after birth is the path to immunity...
  12. I don't really care, but do wonder whether it would be more fun to have our deadline before or after the MLB trade deadline.
  13. KS and WHIP for pitchers. Most direct run prevention metrics IMO. OPS and Runs for hitters. Most direct run production metrics IMO. You could add Saves and Steals because fantasy. (I'm ignoring any advanced metrics that ESPN might have available) (I'm not totally serious, but it would certainly make for an interesting and new league experience)
  14. Ah, European nights at the Bridge....
  15. Game Joel this episode and Game Ellie the next episode, sweet. Also, this episode, which was awesome, was pretty much a re-creation of a matching portion in the game. Right down to that line Joel says at the end. And it hits the same.
  16. It's all about Whitley's command. If he can keep the walks down his stuff will play just fine...
  17. I don't trust the Indian batting at all. Anything over 200 and they'll wilt in the 4th innings. Can they kick Rahul and Pujara to the curb yet? It's ludicrous that Gill isn't in this squad, he's by far the most in form top order batsman.
  18. Also, I'd suggest that both Wins and Quality Starts are equally terrible, though for different reasons. What other options do we have in ESPN fantasy baseball? Quality Appearance? Scoreless Innings?
  19. I'm in.
  20. Robbed by VAR, awesome
  21. Lol it's like that trailer was made for you(r username)
  22. Prediction---after everyone rips on the new GM for not doing enough at the deadline, Whitley is gonna turn into a swing pen/starter weapon for the stretch run a la Hunter Brown.
  23. So. Good.
  24. Lol I'd never noticed Bags before. Upside-down baseball game is one of the great Houston sports calls of all time.
  25. My best or worst ever post on Surly. Time will tell...
