  1. Looking for a rec for a go-to doctor in Houston. Could be a GP or a specialist who could serve in that kind of role. First order of business will be getting a physical, as I just turned 40 and it feels like it's time.
  2. Took Haaland less than 10 minutes to score against Liverpool lol.
  3. Plenty of options to keep warm in that household lol
  4. It's not crystal clear, and it could be fake. But damn if it doesn't look like a freaking volleyball pass to Mbappe here:
  5. Yeah but that wasn't 1 on 1 with no defender on the shooter. Messi's extra time goal should have been the winner, but for some reason the officials missed a blatant handball on France right before the France penalty. It looked like freaking volleyball.
  6. I bet tiny countries like Croatia that don't have a history of being a soccer power actually do care. And this guy definitely cares more than enough:
  7. I keep thinking back to Dibu's save in the 124th minute. When you consider the stakes, is that the greater save from open play in soccer history?
  8. Really wanted Chelsea to wrap up Gvardiol at the same time in a double buy. Now his price has skyrocketed and it'll be a knock down drag out to get his signature...
  9. Perry is good people, and a UT law classmate of mine. It says something to me that he took the case. Let's see how plays out, but agreed that it's hard to see Brard continuing if he's not exonerated.
  10. JD Martinez must be looking at these deals and wanting to punch someone...
  11. How do the Pads fit Machado, Tatis Jr., and Xander into the infield?
  12. Pittsburgh's top prospect is a catcher. In fact, two of their top ten prospects are backstops. I doubt they would be interested in a catching prospect being a major part of any return on Reynolds.

    USMNT 2023

APMP's 2026 Plan: 1. The goal for the USMNT in the 2026 World Cup, in front of what will be loud and rabid home crowds that pack NFL stadia, should be a run to the semi finals. If you don't think Berhalter can get us there (and I don't), then go moneywhip someone who can. Preferably someone with international managerial skins on the wall. 2. Keep this group of kids together and in competitive international matches as much as possible. Gold Cup, Copa America, whatever we host in 2025 in place of the Confederations Cup/Arab Cup, etc. 3. MLS continues to improve as a league, but it's not anywhere close to the quality of the major European leagues, and that's not gonna change by 2026. When we kick off in 2026, our squad needs to be as devoid as possible of the "MLS Specials" Berhalter seemed to love so much.
  14. Gotta be the most arrogant, imperialistic chant of all time. So, par for the course for England.
  15. Haha yeah he's the poster boy. Coached in Vietnam, Ivory Coast, Angola, Saudi Arabia, and a bunch of other places where nothing scared him. And did so in every one of those places dressed in a crisp white shirt.
  16. Surely there's a mercenary, a soccer coach soldier of fortune, that we can get for the 2026 cycle.
  17. Not tracking trailing runs on either goal. This is fundamental stuff guys.
  18. Did the Rangers pull another ARod? If memory serves, they gave him $252 million when the next highest bid was like $180 million?
  19. Good for deGrom. Seager, Semien, and deGrom add to to...$700 million? Lol.
  20. That was a proper penalty, but ain't nobody feeling bad for Uruguay if there's a borderline call that goes against it vs. Ghana.
  21. Sitting out is not much of a thing when major league contracts are guaranteed. But in theory, if a guy was unhappy with his deal, refusing to play is probably the only real option he has...not sure what the CBA says about that.
  22. If this is it for Pina in Houston, then tip of the cap to a true gamer. In his prime, he was one of the best in the world. Unfortunately, we never got to see that third baseman hitting machine in MLB, though you could see flashes of it in Houston. And his AL batting title at the ripe old age of 37 was pretty sweet.
