  1. Yeah that was a head scratcher of a comment. To his credit though, it's best not to remember the Herman years.
  2. It's pretty discouraging thinking about the fact we could end this war in like 72 hours if we brought the thunder. But alas...
  3. nobody is doing shit without US approval. Do you really think Biden is going to green light anything militarily?
  4. ah, it's a bit, my bad. moving on...I'm sure it's been mentioned but us not having a QB that can scramble for yards when things breaks down puts so much pressure on the offense to execute. In this day and age, if your QB can't get yards with his legs, he better be so elite in the pocket as a passer. I think we were all hopeful with his rating coming out of HS that QE would be that elite as a pocket passer but his touch, footwork, mechanics, progressions, etc. are not very good.
  5. I wonder what the threshold for a NATO military response is? It's definitely not a wayward missile hitting some trees. I doubt it's even a wayward missile hitting a building with civilians.
  6. can't edit so worth mentioning your fly fishing options in late june are limited to either lakes or tailwaters. not a real good month to fish tbh.
  7. I'm just being a dick. Everybody has their jam. I think Breck is wayyy too crowded and the locals are pricks. Lots of people love it. If you want the mountain town vibe with shopping, lots of restaurants, etc. there's going to be lots of people around to support those things. Everywhere has access to all the outdoor stuff so that's ultimately a wash. Just depends on what vibe you want. My picks would be Telluride, Crested Butte, or Steamboat.
  8. me every time i see these threads Breckenridge/Summit County is the worst mountain community in Colorado by a mile.
  9. This is an interesting thread. It's been touched on lightly here, but I think the underlying issue is our iPhones. They're a life crutch and allow us to complete checkout from the relationships and experiences that truly provide meaning to our lives. I got rid of my iPhone a few months ago and it's had a profound impact on my happiness, sense of purpose, relationships, pretty much everything. It obviously has its drawbacks, but I feel like I have my life back. Without that stupid fucking thing in my pocket, everything I do has intentionality behind it. I make more of an effort to live my life, and looking back, it's clear it has stolen so much of the one thing I can't have more of: time.
  10. I've always thought he was a poor man's Jay Cutler. Put a lung dart in his mouth. DON'T CARRRRREEEEE
  11. They're going to get pressure on him and dare him to beat them deep. There isn't anything on tape that would suggest he's capable of executing in that environment.
  12. My brain has basically deleted the past however many years of Texas football but got damn that's spot on. Leaving him in at points last year was criminally stupid on Sark's part.
  13. Iffy if he can make a deep pass? He is fucking TERRIBLE throwing deep. It's the opposite of iffy. If he launches it deep, it's an incompletion.
  14. Assume this defense won't be able to get off the field on 3rd and 4th down against a team with a pulse until proven otherwise. We'll come out with our hair on fire and it'll be close in the first half. They'll pull away in the second. I picked 8 wins before the season, didn't see anything yesterday that changed my opinion on that win total.
  15. I just figured I'd take your money but sounds like you're not quite there yet despite your internet bluster.
  16. Love the confidence! Would you like to wager on that?
  17. That's what you key on? Absolute garbage throw.
  18. QE is just not a very good QB. I shouldn't be, but I'm shocked there are dudes here still pimping him.
