  1. Yeah. The banner is red on the version of BBC I have. Also, the last guy I saw talking appeared to be wearing a dark navy suit and tie. The suit could've been black, but the tie was definitely navy.
  2. If that video posted on the first page is true, that statement is pretty similar to "The king's life is moving peacefully towards its close" immediately before he was given a massive speedball.
  3. I'm kinda jealous that @Brisketexan might get to shout "the Queen is dead, long live the King!" whilst sitting in a London pub.
  4. There's a reason they make adaptors for this. If you're going on a long drive where there aren't charging stations, it would be smart to take a generator. If you're staying at someone's house who doesn't have a charger, you'd similarly want a generator on hand.
  5. Every woman I know uses an ovulation tracker when they are actively trying to have a baby. And all women that want to avoid getting pregnant should use them also.
  6. Nothing like having explosive diarrhea on a plane.
  7. Well good thing his flight leaves at 6:20 then. But there's at least one place that stays open fairly late and you can take drinks to go (or at least you used to be able to do so).
  8. Wow. So are they saying this is a new issue (the computers being down)? Or have they still not come back online since earlier?
  9. Interesting. So those per/minute fees I found are what the driver makes after the app takes its cut? The passenger would be paying something like $.30/minute (at 1.5% markup), and that 3 hour traffic jam would cost you an additional $54?
  10. One positive thing about the Austin airport is that there are a lot of places to get booze for a relatively small terminal.
  11. This got me curious. From what I can gather online, this sucks way more for the driver than the passenger. Your fare will be higher, but the per/minute aspect is a far less significant portion of the total bill. I couldn't find the rates specific to Austin, but the national average for Lyft is $.90/mile but only $.09/minute. So, if you were stuck in that traffic jam for 3 hours, it would apparently only cost you an extra ~$16.
  12. They will object to anyone that isn't also complicit in some of his crimes. And any person falling into that category is obviously unacceptable. So, yeah, they are most likely going to strenuously object. However, since they should know the ultimate outcome, I wouldn't be surprised if they actually hope the SM is someone they can use as a boogeyman to discredit the whole thing. Like, if it really was Hillary, that could be the best possible thing for him. The entire right will immediately ignore everything related to all further proceedings.
  13. He better be careful saying things like that or else he’s gonna piss off Trump
  14. Shit. I’d look into changing my departure to Dallas, Houston or SA. Surely one of those will have a flight that gets you to wherever your overseas flight departs.
  15. That being said, the whole SBA program is generally pretty stupid. There’s not much incentive for lenders to actually do anything other than the bare minimum when someone defaults.
  16. So your plan is to “take out” a million for yourself, from a loan that has to be repaid, then use it as an asset to acquire another loan, and continue repeating the process over and over until you end up with a bunch of loans that are in excess of the value of the company and you can’t afford to repay them? Nope. Can’t see any problems with that as a long term plan.
  17. Paramedics/firefighters do it all the time too. Or at least they did when I had a few of them as roommates. Those were some great, hangover free years.
  18. Just take it in somewhere for a check. No reason to fumble around with all the possibilities when it could be something as simple as not having enough coolant
  19. That appears to be a driveway rather than a wheelchair ramp And why would a delivery driver park in a handicapped space?
  20. Congratulations on not having reached your late 30s yet. You’ll understand eventually.
  21. I don’t know how this great American hero is still alive, but I salute him
  22. I do it at our cabin every couple years. As long as everything except your throwing hole are sealed up relatively well it should work. Then stand by with a shotgun incase you have larger guests that you weren’t aware of.
  23. Had a similar issue with a patio that was poured separate from the foundation. Ripped it out, replaced with pavers, and made it a heck of a lot bigger. One of my better life decisions. That was probably more expensive, but absolutely worth it
  24. My nanny’s assistant does too. It’s fuckin embarrassing.
  25. I do this all the time. It’s surprisingly effective. She might get a little annoyed but generally just rolls her eyes and walks away, leaving me to peacefully finish whatever I’m doing.
