  1. I've tried several different varieties, killed them all. I thought it would be similar to rosemary, which I can handle, but it wasn't.
  2. If China is spying on this thread, they are going to be very disappointed.
  3. Might as well get this one in the thread. Besides Julio's 2 hits:
  4. Our pitcher's flexors are falling off!

    Need Help

Tell them you're with Surly, they'll know what to do. (Just kidding, I hope you get what is needed. I have nothing to add except another post that will keep this thread at the top.)
  6. Oh, and what the fuck? Spring Training 2023 is finally upon us and the hope for a new Mariners season, but where are the goofy Mariners commercials? You know the ones that used to feature Felix Hernandez disguised as Larry Bernandez, Ichiro hitting the ball past an insane shift, or who could forget the famous “Clapper” Edgar installed at the ballpark? The Mariners appear to have done away with these old gags in their videos. Switching to hype videos featuring highlights and players pumping up the fans by hyping the team. I still casually make comments like "We're playing outside today" and "It's a light bat!" (technically an Ace commercial). Those goofy commercials were so great.
  7. You are now free to move about VAGILE the cabin.
  8. “America is a Gun,” Brian Bilston England is a cup of tea. France, a wheel of ripened brie. Greece, a short, squat olive tree. America is a gun. Brazil is football on the sand. Argentina, Maradona’s hand. Germany, an oompah band. America is a gun. Holland is a wooden shoe. Hungary, a goulash stew. Australia, a kangaroo. America is a gun. Japan is a thermal spring. Scotland is a highland fling. Oh, better to be anything than America as a gun.
  9. Probably aphids. Invite some ladybugs to your garden, or spray with Neem oil. I get those assholes all over my leafy greens.
  10. At what point should we notify the authorities? And which authorities?
  11. I got some lemons from a friend, and just for the hell of it I planted some of the seeds. They all sprouted, so I've been potting them up for a few years. I don't expect any lemons for a few years, if at all, but it's still fun to experiment. I hear with citruses, the root stock is often different than the main plant, so seeds won't grow true to the parent plant. I have another friend who also has some seed-grown citrus, and he's thinking about grafting something onto the base. That's a little too much for me to try, yet.
