  1. It was a two hour music video for his daughter, the real crime in the movie. And @PittsburghTiger, you talk about Aliquippa greats and don’t mention Tony Dorsett? Edited to ask, “what the fuck, Hopewell High? Every Cowboys fan from 1977 on knows Tony Dorsett to be from Aliquippa.” Shit, now I’m extra confused, Hopewell is IN Aliquippa… so he is from Aliquippa…
  2. Fountain of Youth is just about the biggest piece of shit I’ve ever attempted to watch. I lasted 23 minutes, I have no idea how anyone stands Krasinski’s douche bag character for the full two-plus-hour runtime. What I saw was miscast, uninspired, ill-paced and boring. Portman must have really needed the money.
  3. What kind of swings were those? Holy fuck
  4. It’s why you put him on ignore
  5. Maybe this guy’s arm will fall off at some point? May be our only hope.
  6. Terry has been an internet phenom since 8th grade
  7. CLIFF: Oh, what's the matter there, big guy? NORM: That damn “Hungry Heifer” restaurant again. The place is the pits. CLIFF: Wait. You went back? I thought you hated it there. NORM: I got lured back by their “surf-and-turf” special. CLIFF: Oh, yeah. What's that, lobster and steak, huh? NORM: Tuna fish sandwich with beef gravy.
  8. Great character, brilliant writing, sublime execution by Wendt. RIP, George, you made a lot of people laugh.
  9. She looks like she’s ready to blow, chunks, not bubbles…
  10. I fucking knew the “we were treated unfairly, Liberty was too good” narrative was coming. Like clockwork. It’s the playoffs, expect everyone to have something, besides the fact you supposedly have the best team in America, and are playing at home.
  11. Poor directing (camera switching) is my biggest technical beef. It may seem like bad camera work, but those guys are instructed to pan to their next shot immediately after they get their principal shot/the “play” concludes. It’s the director’s job to switch the cameras appropriately. And they do an especially shitty job of that on the SEC Network’s + channels. They are also really late switching from an iso of the pitcher or batter to the action of the play. Very amateurish, a byproduct of so many games being telecast, the available pool of professionals is diluted.
  12. Does anyone know the name of the color commentator (and be willing to post it)?
  13. You’re not thinking of Darnell Washington from just three years ago? Bowers was the receiver, Washington was the guy with his own zip code.
  14. That’s a good question, so I went to Wikipedia. Nothing new on the resume, but it did have this bit of weirdness: Personal life Herman is a member of Mensa International. He and his wife, Michelle, have a daughter, Priya, and two sons, Maddock and Herman the Frog [2]
  15. I tried to find one of those six year old, multi page threads, but I think this guy actually enrolled here before the birth of Surly. Anyway, he’s finally medically retired, and probably qualify for SS. Always thought he was a gamer. Good luck, Cam. Rising was pushed into a table at the Gatorade station on the Baylor sideline in the first half of their September matchup. He didn’t return to the game. Rising returned in October and started a loss against Arizona State, but suffered a leg injury that ultimately sidelined him for the rest of the season. Rising’s college career was marred by injuries. He redshirted at Texas in 2018 and redshirted at Utah the following season. In 2020, he started against USC and then suffered a season-ending shoulder injury. In 2021, Rising became the Utes’ starting quarterback in the third game of the season. He threw for 20 TDs over 13 games with just five interceptions. The next year, Rising was the team’s undisputed starter and completed 65% of his passes for 3,034 yards and 26 TDs with just eight interceptions. However, he suffered a devastating knee injury in the Rose Bowl against Penn State.
  16. That’s a LaAllan Clark eval/relationship. Must not be such a “hard commit” to Alabama after all.
  17. With all due respect, Wolk literally credited Sarkisian as being a top “developer.”
  18. Mook with no pants at Met Gala
  19. I must be having one of those Mandela effect moments because I seem to recall adding a backup QB transfer several months ago (who had a lot of experience at lower levels) who was obviously coming in hopes to become the next Milwee. But I don’t see anyone like that on the roster. Found it, C.J. Rogers, from January. He was a preferred walk on, so if he did indeed transfer here, that may be why he doesn’t appear on the 2025 roster. https://www.si.com/college/texas/football/transfer-qb-cj-rogers-commits-to-texas-longhorns-for-2025-season-01jgs49d9hhn
  20. I happen to know Walte464 is the ghost of Joe Jamail, so taunt at your own peril.
  21. It was worse than that earlier, I think about eight topics in a row…
  22. I’ve had the trots before, but I never celebrated it.
  23. I seem to recall Michael Kern was our actual punter, not sure how much Ratliff even played.
