  1. Yeah yeah TACO is very funny but for the sake of our troops and the safety of Americans abroad let's not mock Trump if he makes a good decision after "very strongly looking into" a horrible decision.
  2. He wanted to feel strong after the dear leader parade was a bust. He doesn't feel like there's enough support from his base, which is the only reason I think he didn't act on his impulse to use the military in order to feel strong. He's got a lot of Huckabees in his ear, though. I think deep down he's afraid because he knows a fox news weekend host absolutely cannot handle actual responsibility.
  3. We are the only ones who have ever used nukes on civilians.
  4. Except it's not just Tulsi.
  5. Too soon man
  6. Iran's on the 1 yard line? If that were true why would Tulsi and everyone else in the global intelligence community have hidden that fact?
  7. Our journalists fucking suck. They are terrified of being shut out so they suck up to and carry water for their sources.
  8. I think this just shows how low the bar has gotten in the US. These are basic questions that any journalist should be asking. Take a look at what's standard in the UK for a taste of what we're missing. I chalk this up more to Ted letting his guard down because he went in expecting culture war softballs.
  9. I should have been clearer. Domestically people were less skeptical after Colin Powell said "trust me bro"
  10. There is a zero percent chance Israel won't come scurrying under our skirts when "the fall out" happens. In for a penny, in for a pound. We straight up cannot afford this. Iran is a paper tiger because it still wants to avoid a military conflict with the US? Let's give it more than one week to judge this. People felt like we prevailed when Saddam was captured, people felt much differently when we had to spend a decade "nation building." This is a large, hostile, mountainous territory with an enormous population. We lost the war in Iraq, and not only does the strength of that opponent pales in comparison to the strength of Iran, but also the justification for the Iraq invasion while still incredibly weak at the very least was based on a consensus belief that they had WMDs. Yes, it was built on a lie, but it was a commonly held belief at the time. There is no consensus that Iran is "weeks away" from building nukes, not even within Trump's cabinet. More to your point, all this would do is incentivize everyone else to get nukes. "This is what happens if you don't have nukes."
  11. You mean to tell me they're lying? The jackbooted thugs would actually resort to deception?
  12. Cruz was a deciding vote on Kavanaugh, who voted to overturn Roe, for what that's worth.
  13. It's debatable which of them has done more evil, and both sides have compelling cases to be made. I hate them both for different reasons. On this occasion, I will allow myself the indulgence of seeing sniveling Ted getting pantsed, even if I know Tucker Carlson's motivations are suspect and he should never be considered an ally.
  14. Right wingers are easy to radicalize and they radicalize far more often than their counterparts on the left
  15. I actually don't know anything about this case, but good for her.
  16. translation: this is hard and boring and he doesn't feel like thinking about it anymore
  17. If it really was Iran's fault, are you admitting that all the civilian deaths in Gaza were war crimes?
  18. Good PSA for taking the meds
  19. Iran did 10/7 just like Saddam did 9/11 right?
  20. I hate when antisemitism and Russia bootlicking force Tucker Carlson to accidentally stumble upon a good take
  21. "Happy JUNETEENTH which freed the slaves, I assume. Slavery by the way never would have happened if I was president, believe me. Never would have happened. I would have said 'cut it out!' and they wouldn't have done slavery. They told me, 'Sir, please I need these slaves for my property. Don't set them free' 'No, we're not doing slavery. Set them all free.' But it's very sad what happened with the slavery. And some of the owners who were great people, it was very unfair to them, too, that their property was taken away. Treated very unfairly. Great people. But we can't have slavery. And we can't have political prisoners. No, I said 'set them free' unless they're criminal illegals."
  22. The next person who brings up 10/7 gets pistol-whipped
  23. And do you know why that happened?
