I'm not throwing stones, I actually laughed at the disobedience, cause I'm guilty. I was just trying to explain why some parishioners might leave for South Austin and others. I was just showing the scripture that they might use for justification. CHIEF

Jesus didn't, but Paul did in Romans 1:18-32: 18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator-who is forever praised. Amen. 26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. 28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Most of the members of a congregation that leave probably leave over verse 32. Having a gay wedding in their Church is seen as approval, even celebrated. It is, indeed, scriptural. CHIEF

You can bet China has taken notice. Does anyone think China is about to launch a strike against Taiwan? The attack wouldn't make it past a couple of days . The US has shut up the World. CHIEF

Accept it, if it happens Keef. Maybe you should visit the "Christ followers" thread. We think we are in control of our own destiny, that is not a belief I harbor, in the Macro. Figure out what you believe, and go from there. Initially, I would have sacrificed all of the Ukrainian people for my family's safety, but enough is enough. I am willing to take the risk. If shit happens, I hope to see them on the other side. You have to take a stand for something. CHIEF

I think this what you are looking for... CHIEF

Thank you SJ. I tried to post the same thing and couldn't get it hooked up. CHIEF

If he truly has a religious bone in his body, as he portrays. Does anyone think he worries about his soul, if he bombs the human race into extinction? He could replace Hitler as the one getting a pineapple up the ass., maybe even 2-3 per day. CHIEF

I wish ni**a would. Ukraine shouldn't send troops into Russia, but I would level Belgorad, kill every motherfuker in the city. Ukraine needs to panic the Russian people, give them a taste of their own medicine, and have them shrieking towards Moscow. CHIEF

Forget including pics on resumes. Send a resume cake.
CHIEF replied to crash_davis's topic in Daily Texan
I can't wait to tell CHIEF Jr. to ask that question when he interviews at Lockheed-Martin. I'm sure the answer will be "we fuck up Russians." CHIEF -
The US and NATO will do whatever it takes to insure a Ukrainian victory. Putin and Russia have made direct threats about not stopping at Ukraine. All of the countries to the east are NATO countries. Russia has to be stopped in Ukraine at all costs to keep from triggering an Article 5 situation leading tp WWIII. I'm not sure if Putin is contemplating a tactical nuke. If it is detonated close enough to a NATO country to contaminate it with fallout, it triggers Article 5. If he detonates one in eastern Ukraine, he risks contaminating part of Russia itself. CHIEF

I see the picture of her in front of a tree, hopefully she sent a second cake to include it. CHIEF -
With what the sanctions have done, I would offer cash rewards to commanders and crews of Russia's nuclear arsenal. Tell us where you are located, we will send someone to come pick up your nuke. You can move to any country you want. Monaco? Sure. Go pick out your villa. CHIEF

Belarus needs to be told if they keep it up, that they are going to have the same sanctions placed on them as Russia. I don't think Lukashenko could hold onto power, the Belarusian people, and possibly the military might revolt, and possibly side with Ukraine to kick the bear while it is down. It would be a chance for Belarus to kick out the puppet regime, and come to the EU with hat in hand. They have clearly hitched their cart to the wrong horse. If Putin looses power, Russia will probably fracture into smaller nations, Georgia and all the "stans" are gonna want autonomy. Belarus could have it as well. CHIEF

Thirded. My boss at my first job in Austin absolutely loved it. He wanted me to meet him there every Friday morning for breakfast. It was overrated even as a free meal. CHIEF

Marine electronics are what brought abundant seafood to market. We owned a boat dealership from 1977 till about 1982. TPWD had put stripers in Lake Whitney by then, and people caught them, but there was no way to target them. About 1982, Lowrance came out with their X-15 which was groundbreaking. First fish finder that had a graph, you could actually see the backs of the fish, and their numbers on the graph paper. Up until that time, it was a little knowledge, and a whole lot of luck to catch anything. Shrimp are cheaper now, than when I was a kid in the 70's. CHIEF

Do you really think that young male soldiers are gonna stand up against the government , and almost certainly lose their life, career, and future for a bunch of aggrieved women? Is it an injustice? Yes. Do we hope the revolution would be successful? Yes. There is no one that would like to see this revolution succeed more than the people on this thread, but skepticism is truly warranted. We will never walk in their shoes. Iran being a true Democratic Republic is a pipe dream until it is. God Speed . It is like the the 5-7 prediction for aggy when they play four FCS teams. CHIEF

An unarmed Iranian population has less than a snowball's chance against 190K armed IRGC personnel, even if Artesh sits this one out. It's going to go the way the last Cuban dust up went. The IRGC could, and would kill millions, if necessary. I'm not sure how many Iranians are going to willingly die for the change to happen. CHIEF

Drive to Houston, and jump on a SWA flight to Cozumel. It's very laid back, when you are not around the Cruise Ship ports, nothing like Cancun. The seafood is amazing, as are the street tacos. Go snorkeling at El Cielo, hang out with the stingrays. Eat conch ceviche at the Rasta Bar, drink margaritas at Coconuts, stroll Benito Juarez square in the evening. Hotels are cheap, you can rent an old VW Bug with the roof chopped off for $35/day. Go to the grocery store and buy Cuban rum to drink on your patio in the afternoon. Daytime highs in the 70s/low 80s, night time lows in the upper 60's. CHIEF

We are at our deer lease this weekend, and listening to the game on the Lubbock station. Commercial breaks are winter wheat seed, tractors and implements, and irrigation companies. CHIEF

Matt Campbell offered him a scholarship to play at Iowa State, but luckily, he always wanted to be a Longhorn. As stated above, he was always spoken of being a "diamond in the rough" at Austin High. I would run and pass out of a 12 Personnel, he would get plenty of protection, and would have 2-4 reads. If UTSA wants to put 9 in the box and leave X and Whitt in 1 on 1 with a CB, that's Traylor's problem. Wright is perfectly capable of throwing to backs on swing passes, and hitting wide open receivers, which, if their CBs are slow, we will be seeing a lot. Would rather do this than loose a gimpy Card for 3-4 weeks. See if he can be well enough to go against TT. It doesn't matter what defensive formation Texas runs, it's gonna be a long day to be a Roadrunner. DL is gonna eat. Multiple coverage sacks, and TFLs. Texas 45 UTSA-6 (two field goals) CHIEF
