  1. Uh, how's that not a red? Studs up. You better check that screen and confirm it.
  2. Come on Curtis, you got to put that in.
  3. Eat shit Newcastle! Grav said fuck it, I'll do it myself.
  4. He really is. I don't think I've hated a player like him in quite a long time. Just a massive flopping pussy. We need to get out of our own end or they're going to get one soon.
  5. Sweet Christ. Is he going to call it both ways at some point? Toss Ekiteke to the ground. No big deal.
  6. Is Nancy Mace at it again?
  7. Okay. Well I guess I'll sit around freaking out that we MIGHT some day add corporate sponsorships to our uniforms even though he's fought all attempts to have Nike give us alternate uniforms and has repeatedly said the uniform is sacred and we're not touching it.
  8. I think that's true for smaller colleges or private colleges. I know Trinity mentioned going for the open house and then scheduling a one on one interview as something that can boost your profile. Conversely, Willamette University's person said whether you visit or not had zero bearing on if they admitted you or increasing your chances since they mostly get out of state people applying and it's not always easy for people to get there. Maybe Trinity is different because it's highly sought after in this state thus being a lot more competitive. I can't remember if Colorado College made it a big deal or not to visit. I would say sign up for emails from them to show interest and also attend any traveling college fairs if they do them. I know Willamette scanned a QR code on my daughter's phone when we talked to them at the small college fair. Maybe that was to send her more info or record that they spoke to her? I think getting on the email list is a good idea as we've gotten emails from places she's not going to apply with like University of Denver that offered waiving the application fee if she applied. Which college is this for?
  9. Speaks to Bradley's fitness I guess.
  10. This should be a lively atmosphere as we committed the worst crime imaginable, bidding a record amount for a player who wants to leave his club. Mac is out as his wife is about to have a baby.
  11. Hell yeah on that answer to playing teams like Ohio State in the CFP era.
  12. Like the one plastered on the wall behind him? College football is definitely back when Surly finds something to bitch about.
  13. A field is one thing. The uniforms are something he has not allowed to be altered in any way since he's taken over and has repeatedly stated is not going to happen. No alternates, no all black, no burnt orange helmets. Rest your sphincters about it.
  14. Yes and that's what we want to happen. That's also why we're not playing Big 12 teams for a while other than the newbies. We don't need to go to Lubbock or Stillwater again for a while. G5s will come to Austin only. Next we'll see if the Big 10 wants to do a scheduling alliance with the SEC which is fine with me as long as we're going west or playing the better opponents like Penn State and Wisconsin. We also haven't really scratched the surface on ACC teams. There's plenty of good options like Clemson who doesn't seem worried about playing a couple of SEC teams every year.
  15. It's really not but don't let that stop you from kneejerking about it
  16. Getting an error on the LHN app when the countdown ended. College football is certainly back!
  17. I voted for Republicans every cycle after I turned 18 in 1994 until I got tired of the direction the country was going in 2008. I guess I should be cancelled by people like BevoAbyss because I voted the wrong way when I was young. More refreshing small government conservatism and free market capitalism!
  18. Let's get some Daft Punk in the stadium. Humann after all.
  19. Hold up your badge so they know you're a policeman. Taps sign
  20. Again, thank God we no longer have Joe Biden in the Oval Office using the Justice Department to go after his enemies. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
  21. Yeah if it doesn't work for you then it just doesn't. But then you'll miss season two and finding out why it pisses Derka off to this day.
  22. I doubt we play any away games in the OOC going forward in-state. We're not going to play SMU or Rice away from DKR. We don't need to go to Dallas as that's an annual event. The one off with UCLA was because they wanted to play a neutral site in Arlington. I doubt we have any desire to play at JerryWorld ever again outside of the playoff.
  23. She would like to be a therapist. She credits her therapist for helping turn her around and she wants to do the same for others. She's looking at a psychology degree but her therapist said she shouldn't limit herself to just that. Our college guy says she should stick with psychology for the smaller colleges. One thing she really liked about UC-Irvine is they have a pathway option for psychology that is all about counseling and not just clinical psychology. We're going to do a deeper dive into each school's psych programs next month. We'll also look at schools that offer a 5 year program so she can go right into getting a Master's. Some schools offer those programs. I believe Trinity does that.
  24. Probably. There are a lot of interpretations you can make. The kids became weaponized at 2:17. There's 2 remaining and 17 missing from the class. I'd imagine he was going for an allegory about what happens to a community and parents after a tragic event like a school shooting.
