  1. I don't think every Star Wars series or movie going forward needs to be ordinary people like Andor. Everything would then pale in comparison. I would like if the dialogue and screenplays could be Andor-like in what comes next. The issue with the Jedis and lightsabers is I don't see how they can make it any better going forward. The sequels kind of bore that out. It sadly will all be sort of a derivative of the OT. I like the idea of Mangold's movie being set at the origin of the Jedi. You can at least try new things. Or do a Knights of the Old Republic thing. I don't have high hopes for Rey's movie and it's pretty telling that it seems stuck in the mud. The Starfighter movie with Ryan Gosling might be decent because he could make it fun and he won't be playing a Jedi. If it's a Star Wars version of Drive, I'm in. I say all this and I bet when the Mando and Grogu trailer comes out, we're all going to be excited. I think for the most part, people here enjoyed Ahsoka but the writing and motivations of people like Sabine were not as good. Filoni does have some flaws. Writing dialogue is one of them. When koopa comes back after 8, it's going to be great.
  2. This is pretty cool. Fern is being cast as the new slayer in the Buffy sequel series with Sarah Michelle Gellar. https://deadline.com/2025/05/buffy-reboot-ryan-kiera-armstrong-new-slayer-1236398811/
  3. Saw this online. That's a nice reference to THX 1138.
  4. You're shrinking like Altuve?
  5. The kid pitched a gem. Now some run support, please.
  6. I was about to make a South Austin's mom joke and shaking.
  7. Michael J Fox is going to be in season 3 as well. This cast is ridiculous now.
  8. No. There were others. In season 1, Chief Hyne, Syril's lazy boss was Yohn Royce, the bannerman of House Arryn. Leida, played one of Vary's little birds. The Spice King played a Senator. Captain Tigo from season 1 had a brief appearance as Rhaegar Targaryen.
  9. David Ornstein @David_Ornstein · 3h Liverpool advancing in talks to sign Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen - increasing confidence from Dutch int’l camp deal will be struck. 24yo #Bayer04 right-back keen on move so personal terms no issue. ~€35m clause appeals to #LFC @TheAthleticFC
  10. Ha ha. That late November to Christmas Day is going to be so rough.
  11. I think everyone is paranoid of being found out or failing into a trap. They also didn't trust Luthen and thought he could've been compromised. It's also the same two people in Rogue One who didn't want to attack the base on Scariff because they were scared.
  12. In my head canon, Kino Loy went out like a boss after the Empire came to reinforce the prison. He wasn't going back in.
  13. The piercing the veil scene was I think what people were saying was the surprise since it definitely added a new element to the story. Or people just couldn't handle Hailee Steinfeld talking about him burying his face in her cooz and f'ing her so hard. I went ahead and bought the pre-order for this on Ultra 4K HD. I hope the IMAX aspect ratios are included. Sinners will pass 300 million worldwide very soon. Already over 218 million domestically. It should make a ton this week being back in IMAX theaters.
  14. And now it's been announced that Dallas plays at Washington on Christmas Day at 1pm on Netflix. A real place to see and be seen.
  15. He had a robot friend to play with. The force line didn't bother me. It's in keeping with the OT. General Dodonna says it to the pilots before the Battle of Yavin. I feel like it was something said to people who remembered the time when the Jedi were the keepers of the peace. If anything, George polluted that with the prequels. Even Tarken tells Vader you are all that is left of that religion. Dedra's ending reminded me of the Colonel from Boogie Nights. Shut up, Dedra!
  16. Which is interesting because one of the big things about how different Rogue One was that the Rebellion was willing to get their hands dirty. Andor gets a kill order for Galen Erso from Draven. It wasn't oh just rescue him like you'd expect from the OT rebels. It was more Han blowing away Greedo. And what sucks about some of this is Gilroy is being celebrated for his brilliance and how he rewrote Star Wars. And yet, he can't get funding for his next project with Oscar Isaac in the lead role.
  17. Also looking at Florian Wirtz from Bayer.
  18. Excellent. The pool is awesome at that place and you and the wife can get some frozen awesomes from the bar there while he swims.

I think it's more the place is super popular already. I went by the other day at 6pm and the entire parking lot was full. El Vecino sometimes has an hour wait.
  20. Yeah. So in.
