  1. I wonder how many pitchers' careers were destroyed by this scandal. Having to watch yourself give up an illegitimate home run on the Judge highlight reel for years to come must be incredibly damaging on one's psyche. They should sue.
  2. Judge suddenly takes less money to return to the Yankees less than 24 hours after it's revealed that the Yankees were given juiced balls by MLB. Hmmmmmmmmm........
  3. I wish I could put a bet down on how much the Yankees will still owe him when his body breaks down. I bet it will be nine figures.
  4. Well, someone has to take over for Tucker Carlson when he's the compromise candidate in 2024.
  5. It's the new "antifa".... it just means "anything I don't like."
  6. I’m sure I’m missing a few, but of the high profile, “holy shit what are they doing here” candidates: Won: Vance Lost: Oz, Walker, Mastriano, Lake, Masters, Bolduc, Palin I was about ready to write-off this country a little over a month ago. It’s been nice to regain a little faith in the people.
  7. Election night commentary is always an informative lesson on who tries to be informed on the topics they are commenting on, and who rushes to post a reaction based off of a CNN graphic.
  8. Wild thread. TL;DR: MLB juiced the baseballs for the Yankees (specifically during the Judge home run chase)
  9. I honestly can't believe infields weren't uniform already.
  10. Yes, I'm sure the guy who has been there 8 months is an expert in Rams concepts.
  11. His players love him, except for the ones that don’t!
  12. Very convenient for the world that all of the brain worms folks have neatly sorted themselves into one side of the political spectrum, regardless of topic.
  13. *Elon spends six weeks amplifying every right wing talking point in existence* This is neutral.
  14. I’d be willing to wager that if the incredibly small portion of the population that gets their political news from Twitter, 100.0% of them knew about the Hunter Biden shit before they cast their vote.
  15. What does this mean in practice? I mean, I still heard about the story, even *gasp* on Twitter. So whatever this “censoring” is alleged to be, it obviously didn’t work. If the allegation is that they actually removed the dick pics, well congrats to Twitter for following the law.
  16. So “IT IS MY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT AS AN AMERICAN TO VIEW AN ILLEGALLY OBTAINED PHOTO OF THE PENIS OF THE SON OF A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE” is really the hill folks are dying on?
  17. What on earth would cause you to draw this conclusion, let alone feel the need to verbalize it?
  18. This is actually a very interesting tie-in, as many of the prominent current voices in the right-wing online ecosystem emerged during the #gamergate campaign last decade.
  19. The "need to fit in" theory makes sense, but it's even beyond that. It's an almost cult-like worship to these people/ideas (good add with crypto) and an inability to admit that they may be less than perfect, all from a very similar demographic of young, mostly-white men. It's bizarre.
  20. People who idolize Trump People who idolize Elon People who idolize Joe Rogan People who idolize those weird fitness/masculinity coaches like Andrew Tate, etc. The overlap here is huge, especially with white males 18-40. For some reason, there is a HUGE segment of the population desperately seeking powerful, brash, male figures to worship. Obviously not a psychologist, but this will be another interesting phenomenon of the current era that I'm sure will be analyzed in future years.
