  1. Those Fox hosts had a “we’re fucked” look during the entire call.
  2. Her oratory skills have improved an inconceivable amount in the last four years.
  3. Whatever it is, add an hour or two.
  4. “Maybe we shouldn’t give the people who have repeatedly caused disruptions to our presidential candidate’s rallies and called her complicit to genocide unfettered access to a microphone and a national audience” is a line of thinking that most people understand. Their cause is certainly noble but they have absolutely no reason to expect a speaking slot after their actions towards Democrats over the past few months.
  5. Colin Allred is gonna be shocked to learn he’s running for Senate when he sees this poll.
  6. Quick Twitter search reveals that Repubs really REALLY fucking hate Walz. He must terrify the shit out of them.
  7. People who do this are overwhelmingly Republican, and vibes were REALLY bad in that side of the world for the past few weeks. Nothing has really changed, other than humans tend to find ways to rationalize away bad news when exposed to it for long enough.
  8. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a group of people so proud of a “gotcha” question that impacts literally no one.
  9. Wes Moore gonna have a 2004 Obama “wait, who the hell is this guy” moment tonight.
  10. I do think you might be on to something here. Too many people (by Bibi’s design) view Israel and Bibi as one in the same. If the US can deftly communicate a “we are trying to help Israel, but one man is standing in the way” then that could greatly shift the narrative, both here and abroad, positively towards resolution.
  11. The case could be made that Trump is now unequivocally a national and global security threat and the SCOTUS has already written that Biden would be well within his legal rights to take care of threats...
  12. Joey is an extremely obvious troll that has realized he gets engagement by acting like a douche. The bigger issue is the fact that there was a legitimate audience for that shit.
  13. There’s a lot of words in that post, but these are the only ones that matter. Roughly half the country has been brainwashed to believe this is a superhero battle and the other side must be vanquished. Note the subtle differences in how Fox and CNN or MSNBC describe the “other” team. CNN and MSNBC will bash Republicans, sure, but it’s almost always pointed at politicians or people in power. Fox will always use generic terms like “liberals” or “the left.” Their goal is to make it “us vs them” and it fucking works. It’s why the claims about appealing to most of them are so laughable. None of this is policy-related. The sheep are told WHO to hate and then they adopt whatever policy positions make that happen.
  14. Aaaaaannnd CNN's first comments after that speech are about how Biden talked about his legacy more than promoting Kamala. Easiest decision ever to turn that shit off and go to bed.
  15. If this Biden showed up at the debate, it would have been a very different summer. I'm very glad his legacy won't have to find out what would have happened.
  16. Holy fucking shit this ovation
  17. "He doesn't want his boss's job, therefore he probably isn't good at the one he has" is an insanely dangerous thought for any leader to entertain. I'd argue that confusing ambition with talent is a pretty consistent theme with organizations in decline.
  18. No idea if it will translate, but it's obvious Sark thinks we are gonna be really good.
