  1. Uncommitted or unsigned, though? I assumed @4th and 5 to be talking about someone other than Warren Roberson, since he's currently committed.
  2. I'm not sure what the story is with Robertson. He transferred twice (first to Georgia, then to Auburn) and never made a huge impact anywhere after his freshman year at Cal. Trey Smith has started 33 of 34 games since he was drafted by KC. Made the PFWA All-Rookie team last year. Mentioned as a Pro Bowl snub this year. Dunno why he was drafted so low but seems like it's working out so far in the NFL. You all know the story with Nix. Three pretty up-and-down years at Auburn, transferred to Oregon and had a very nice year. I have absolutely no idea where/if he'll be drafted - probably depends a lot on this upcoming season. Quick Googling shows that Pappoe is considered a round 2-3 type guy. Anyway, long story short, you've really gotta like these odds. Basically Robertson is the only guy on this list that didn't pan out.
  3. Every football team I care about is fucking owned by Brock Motherfucking Purdy.
  4. Schulz earning his money on this drive.
  5. This has been an absolutely pathetic 4th quarter. Just zero fight. Lay down and die shit.
  6. If they score on this drive I think that’ll about do it
  7. Big difference in offenses is that SF hits their receivers in stride. Our receivers are always standing still when they get the ball.
  8. Turpin running straight at two tacklers
  9. Man this is a fucking winnable game and the Cowboys just refuse to take control.
  10. I wonder if the hot pursuit of Mitchell means that Neyor is either thinking about bouncing or still not right physically. They seem like pretty similar players and we suddenly have a lot of mouths to feed at WR/TE.
  11. I can't believe we're apparently gonna roll with Maher. I don't give a shit if he makes 1,000 out of 1,000 this week in practice, there's a huge difference between doing it on a field in Frisco and doing it in front of 70k fans in San Francisco. I dunno who's out there, but I am certain there are guys currently sitting at home that can hit their extra points and hit a 45-yarder. IMO, there's very little difference between the 33rd best professional placekicker and the NFL average.
  12. Well that’s the plan anyway. But if our coaches are anything like me, they’ll be fast asleep and snoring loudly by then.
  13. Seems like if you get a good one from ProKick, you get a real good one, but a lot of what they send over here ends up being filler. We’re only batting 33%. Personally I’m over it. I’d rather we just scout out a great HS specialist every 2-3 years and give them a scholarship than reach into the ProKick grab bag and risk pulling out another dud. You know, a guy who has actually seen a football game before he hits campus.
