  1. Anyone watching the Women’s tour? They crash all the time, so that keeps it entertaining.
  2. From what I understand (mostly from my friend who is a former pro cyclist) is that the team systematic doping is a thing of the past. He wasn’t even aware of who was doing what within his own team, but it was obvious when someone improved by 5% overnight.
  3. Wiggins hated cycling and wanted to quit. Froome got old and then had a career ending injury. Roglic is getting old and never won the tour in the first place. Thomas won because Froome did the Giro before the tour and then he got old. Bernal had a career ending injury and wasn’t able to follow Pog before the injury. Pogacar is still only 24-25ish, he’s got at least 5-6 more good years where he could win. Im sure most of the world tour riders are doing some kind of doping. I have a friend that is a retired pro and worked with Dr. Ferrari (the Michael Jordan of doping doctors). He said Ferrari told him details of the programs he had Nibali and Froome following during their heyday years.
  4. I went and saw Christine Kingfish Ingram live a few weeks ago. He’s the best guitar player I’ve seen live in a long time.
  5. Stage 19 has been entertaining as hell all day. 36km to go and it’s still a dogfight.
  6. Man he needs to retire like 4 years ago. Can’t blame him for soaking up $6 million/year though, I would do the same.
  7. I’m not a fan of him at all. He was all up on the GW1516 and motors in his wheel and stuff, but I don’t know what him and his wife are like personally.
  8. Here’s a good summary of what motivated Lotto to lead out Asgreen for the win. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xrJC1bVaQMo
  9. He’s a good dude, but there’s nothing exciting about watching him sit up there with the strongest team and dominate. Pretty much makes him just like Froome.
  10. He owes Campanaerts several beers and probably a hooker for that leadout.
  11. He’s been a level down all year. The only race I can think of that he dominated was Gent Wevelgem and he gifted it to LaPorte.
  12. WVA abandoned……without winning shit this this tour.
  13. Don’t jinx it, Jumbo still hasn’t had their annual Tour clusterfuck day.
  14. Bilbao is so good at sneaking up high in the GC. Taking a free ride from Jonas now.
  15. Those fans almost knocked Jonas off with that push.
  16. I hope Gall stays with him, he’s on my fantasy team!
  17. King of the mountains 5 minutes behind on the big mountain of the day.
  18. Yeah, but mine is a different kind of dope!
  19. Fair enough. I still think that performance is suspicious, but I could be wrong and I understand others won’t agree with me.
  20. WVA has about 30-40 lbs on Jonas and is a 3X world cyclocross champion. Being on the same team and being a guy that likes to win TdF TT’s, I’m sure he did the same level of recon.
  21. I’ve heard the same thing. Pog measures around 90 and Jonas around 97. Bernal was around 92 a couple years ago. Where it doesn’t add up for me on yesterdays TT is how a little skinny climber can outmuscle a guy like WVA (and Tadej who is a mini WVA) on the flat like he did.
