  1. Fucking in the bushes is a great festival song.
  2. I believe you and I have had this conversation before. If I remember correctly we crossed paths through the 50’s and 60’s. I still run the Columbus area on occasion. Let me know if you are ever in the area, beers are on me…
  3. Ft Benning?
  4. Yep, it was one hell of an effort though
  5. I don’t know shit. But, three years in the program and we’re talking about the kids mechanics? Unless there is a medical issue that just seems a little fucked up.
  6. Actually, my concern has nothing to do with the game. Regardless of the statistics I believe we win this game if played in Austin. I think it’s fair to say if we had gotten just a couple of plays to go our way…..we win. No, my concern is the distractions Arch has to deal with. Fame, fortune, youth, academics, that is a lot of shit going on in his young life. The fact I was watching commercials of Arch hawk glasses, clothing, etc during the game was a first for me. I don’t recall ever seeing commercials of an active college player doing spots during a game they’re playing in. I just don’t see how you could develop a laser type focus on a specific task when you have so many irons in the fire. just a thought….
  7. Got a question. I have managed to locate three of the Blanton’s. The original, straight from the barrel, and the gold edition. My question is are the red and black label bottles available in the US? I know they were not originally distributed in the US, but I keep running across postings on forums like Reddit that suggest they can be had?
  8. SIAP, but anyone else buy silver from Costco? Good, bad, what are your thoughts? I bought these simply because I found it fucking surreal one could buy silver bars one aisle over from frozen foods.
  9. This is going to be so much fun to watch.
  10. I’m going to guess that was intentional
  11. I’m disappointed in him.
  12. Nothing like that. My father was a PH for a short time. He got me into collecting dangerous game rifles. They are most definitely an acquired taste.
  13. I find that to be an interesting observation. Until you mentioned it I had never gave it much thought. But, I can see your point. If I’m speculating, and I was a guest, I think I would appreciate the fact that you researched it. I would also add how the question was asked would be a component. I can see the host wanting to give the guest something in their wheelhouse, without sounding patronizing.
  14. I appreciate it, but I’m wanting something from post 2010. From what I’m reading that is when they introduced the Safari Express (prior to that date I believe they were called super express). The newer models are controlled feed, have the matte black finish, and the front swivel is on the barrel not the stock. It also has the shorter barrel. Which makes carrying it easier than the Alaskan that I currently have. Again, thanks for the heads up.
  15. I have been trying to find a Winchester Safari Express in .375 H&H. I have read they are still in production, but no one actually has one in stock. Anyone have any insight on what is going on?
