  1. I tested the unclickable area while viewing a different thread/page and while the window was maximized. The width of the unclickable area was slightly larger than when the window was normal (manually sized and smaller). The unclickable area started at the same position, but extended down past the last post in the thread. The unclickable area appears to have a width that is related to the width of the browser window. The height doesn't appear to be fixed, but I'm not sure what is being factored into it's height.
  2. It looks to me like there is a problem with the left edge of the page even when the browser window isn't maximized. The same issue was occurring on the right side of the page if the screen was maximized (preventing me from clicking on the rep button). Reverting the browser window to 'normal' (ie. manually sized), fixes the issue with the right side of the page, but the left side still has issues. It doesn't seem to be a browser dependent issue as it's being reported on Firefox, Chrome and Safari. I had no issue using the site with my (Android/Chrome) phone. I think someone above claimed to experience the issue on a tablet? It seems like it's not specific to a Theme either as I'm using Surly Dark and others are using IPS Default. The unclickable area in my PC browser on the left side appears to start (vertically) from the breadcrumb nav bar (Home > Shit's Borked) down through the second to last post. From the last post to the bottom of the page, the left edge is clickable as expected.
  3. Manually size your browser windows to almost full screen instead of having the window be maximized. There is definitely something affecting click box areas when browser windows are maximized.

  5. I saw it last night while dicking around on my phone. I had a hard time reading it TBH because the PDF renders the text too small on my phone. Still, I figured it was germane to the topic of this thread. I looked at the list of people at the end who signed the letter honestly don't know who most of them are.

  8. Really glad to see the ad wizards at JG Wentworth finally came to their senses and returned to making commercials featuring their opera style jingle. So much time lost in the darkness...
  9. Wordle 572 3/6 ⬜🟨🟨🟨🟩 🟨🟨🟨🟨🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Wordle vexed me today (on guess #2). I'm terribly vexed. 11. It looks like a CSS issue where a transparent border is layered over the clickable area.
  12. FWIW, I don't think it's a JavaScript issue. Resizing the browser window fixes the issue for the currently loaded page. Like LHF_68, I also changed nothing on a PC setup that has worked fine for years. Everything worked fine yesterday too.
  13. Zoomed? I assumed from your screenshot that you are also browsing from a PC. I'm also zoomed at 100%. That's not what I'm talking about. If you are on a PC, you should be able to set the size of your browser window. I normally keep my browser window maximized, but if I click the button at the top right (in the caption bar of the window) to normalize the window, my browser window adjusts to a small window taking up roughly 1/3 of my screen. In that state, all the clickable areas work as expected. If I then click on the button to maximize again, the clickable spaces still work as expected - until I click to a new page. Then it's rinse and repeat.
  14. Sounds like the same problem I'm experiencing. Have you tried changing the size of your browser window to see if it fixes it for you (temporarily)?

  16. My pc screen resolution (size of maximized browser window) is 1680 x 1050. Not sure if that helps or not.
  17. The problem is not "fixed". If I visit a new (thread) page, shit is borked again. I can temporarily fix it by nomalizing the window as described above though. Super wierd! Could this be some sort of CSS issue confusing the browser?
  18. The wierdest thing ever, I just clicked the button at top right of the browser window to restore the window to normal size (instead of maximized like I always keep it) and the rep buttons and tool-tip pop-ups when hovering the cursor over avatars are working again. I maximized the window again and everything seems to be working. I don't know if adjusting the window size fixed it, or if you did something on the back end, but huzzah either way.
  19. I do have NoScript installed, but I gave Surly trusted status for all javascript (including ezodn.com and ezoiccdn.com), so it's not blocking anything. I also have Privacy Badger running, but it's only blocking google-analytics.com Everything worked just fine yesterday BTW.
  20. I'm using "surly main - dark" theme if that helps.
  21. Testing just now and there is a similar issue with hovering the mouse cursor over members' avatars. The cursor only recognizes them as clickable (with the tooltip pop-up) if I position the mouse on the extreme right edge of the avatar image.
  22. Went the wordle thread this morning and tried to give folks +rep as I normally do, but the rep button isn't working. I'm using Firefox on a PC and did not change anything on my end. Rep button appears as a static image of the hookem icon in solid white. Mouse cursor doesn't change when I hover over it (like it does for all hyperlinks/buttons) and clicking on it does nothing. Also, when submitting a post, the "submit Reply" button is partially borked. I have to position the cursor to the left of the letter 'S' in order to be able to click on it. If I position the cursor over any of the letters, it's not clickable.
  23. I'd give folks rep like I normally do if I could, but something is wrong and the rep icon isn't an active button on my computer this morning. Bork!
