  1. Mowed the front yard and it was so dry and dusty with pollen and leaves under the oak tree my nose is stopped up and I  can’t smell anything now.  I’m gonna go dig the shirt out of the hamper that I wore to crawfish boil last night and sniff it like a pair of used panties.

The fully cooked burnt ends are better than 95% of BBQ restaurants in Houston. They’re going to put people out of business if they catch on.

I cooked in the oven with a little bit of HEB bbq sauce applied for taste.

one of my kids attempted to make a grilled cheese sandwich with this technique.  still S'ingMDH

Years ago our babysitter made pop tarts for the kids and forgot to check the toaster setting (it was on dark).  When the resulting flames appeared, she threw a cup of water on the toaster to try and put it out 😱.  Luckily the worst thing to come out of it was having to buy a new toaster.

If some of you are afraid of heights, maybe a bridge floating on the water is more your style.

Try one of the old wooden causeway bridges to Padre Island.  You couldn’t steer.

  5. 31 years ago this week, my wife and I took our 2 week honeymoon in Alaska. This was a pic from when we drove a Toyota Corolla from Haines to Fairbanks.  Pretty sure that’s the Wrangells in the background.  It was a great trip.  Started in Seattle, h ferried from Ketchikan to Juneau, then Haines, drove to Fairbanks and took the train back to Anchorage.

I made way too much rice for gumbo on Sunday, so decided I was gonna need to make some fried rice to get rid of it. The only thing I didn’t already have in my pantry or freezer was the HEB diced thighs for lettuce wraps, which were perfect for this.

Was gonna rep for this but realized man, that’s like a great last step before picadillo.  Should have finished and eaten in tacos!

Yea, I will. I am not a closed minded person. I personally believe he will win. If yall dont crowd source me just because I think a little differently, then I will eat crow right here.

Will you eat crow out of your avatars pussy though?  I might tune in for that.

I don't really give a shit about this, but gas is MAX $2.99 a gallon. how many gallons of gas are you using to go get food to use up a $6.00 service fee?

Sometimes I’m just willing to pay for the convenience.  My time is valuable, and I can’t go to the restaurant when I’m in my underwear and half drunk.

  9. Man this thread died ignanimously.  Dragged my 20 year old Mahindra out of the barn yesterday and started cleaning it up.   Needs a bunch of electrical work but still runs like a beast.

The morning of the forgotten coffee maker clock

I wonder how many OCD people have been killed or injured over the years trying to remember how to reset the clock in their car while driving?
