  1. That they listen to their doctors and no one on the Internet. Considering something like 95% of docs take vacations, I’ll follow suit.
  2. Try tempo work over very high reps. 12 - 15 reps with a 3 second tempo.
  3. I mean, I can, but that’s switch for me. [emoji16]
  4. Trinity Texas loses their ER again. I used to wakeboard the Trinity. Heavy MAGA country. Oh well. https://abc13.com/amp/post/midcoast-medical-center-trinity-close-due-financial-struggles-leaving-town-hospital/16233487/

Lando on his scooter in his race helmet.

James Vowles even said on his radio that it’s not how he likes to go racing, but it’s what they had to do.

Waiting for a safety car. Two pits stops is trash. This was a bad idea.

I think it was because he was technically on the racing line.
  9. I disagree. We were a city on a hill if you were / are a white male. Beyond that - living in America was not all rosey. Hell, dead people have more bodily autonomy than women in a lot of states.

Paddock? Yacht? General admin on the hills?
  11. OSHA rule regarding masks was applied to companies, not the whole country. Reading comprehension much?
  12. The vaccine mandate by Biden was government. Companies had their own rules. Other countries had their own rules. Same with masks - there was not a government mask mandate for the country. It was recommended. There were local and state mandates.
  13. You could try The Little Watch shop on Shepard.
  14. There was not a vaccine mandate for the country. There were sectors that were mandatory for work in the government, but that was it. The average American wasn’t forced by the government to get vaccinated.
  15. My soon to be 14 year old is finishing up 8th grade today. 4 more years left of being his learning coach. Even on the hard days, I wouldn’t change it.

Watching replay - you’re correct. Great move.

It worked for Charles. He picked up spots on Russell and Sainz.

Holy shit - Oscar let him through instead of plowing into him due to Max’s constant late breaking.
  19. I do heavy functional weights. 45lb dumbbells for farmer carries (45 seconds on, 1 min off). Air squats, Bulgarian split squats, lunges - all body weight at tempo. I’ve basically moved to lighter weights with tempo to build muscle. It’s a whole lot easier on the joints. My knees barely grind going up stairs now. I’m 47 and down to 211 today (5’9”).
  20. Goal has been met. TLDR - wife and BIL sold company they took over from their father and we can retire early. Wife and I started a plan roughly 13 years ago. She went to work part time with her dad and brother. We lived off of my salary and just invested what she made. We both knew this little business would one day be a legit small town medium business. It sold last month. Her father had long retired and handed the company to his son and daughter. They grew it to 22 employees and 5x his best sales year. He started the sale of the business last August and he lost his long battle with cancer in December. His goal was to make sure his wife and kids would never have to worry about money and he succeeded. It’s a bitter sweet success. He would have been proud of them for seeing it through. We are set up to retire in our early 50’s (after the kid gets out of college). We both make too much to quit right now. Plus, she likes fast cars. Our new goals are to grow this money and safe guard it. We are both still working, so we are still adding to our investments, but not like we were. We are spending some on fun things.
  21. Wife won’t take calls from TxState when they are trying to raise money. She graduated from SWTSU.

That will be a whole lot of fun for us non-RedBull fans. Chaos over there would be great entertainment.
  23. Some will eat the costs where they can and raise prices where they can. I imagine most only ordered critical items and have planned around it best they can.
  24. My BIL will have two or three containers shipped this week that his suppliers have been holding. I’m sure there are many others in the same situation.

Apparently Horner is on the verge of being fired from RedBull. A whole lot of reports out there.
