  1. I'll make it if it's at your place. Me and my lady and maybe a couple of friends that live nearby.
  2. Yeah that's a tough age for advanced readers. I'll check with my daughter about what she liked. Look up Jaclyn Moriarty's Kingdom's and Empires series. It'll be an easy read for her, but they're a really fun 5 book series that are loosely connected. Reading them in order makes for some wonderful reveals; I read them out loud to my kids and there were often shrieks of joy heard throughout the house at those parts.
  3. Trout under the lights were thick: Made some crudo, lime, salt, jalapeño, olive oil, salt, parsley:
  4. I used ChatGPT a bunch for prep work. For each job I would start a separate conversation so when an interview came up I could find everything pretty easily. By the end, my resume was pretty on point for all of the job reqs to which I applied. For interviews, I would write down my versions of the ai output in a notebook so I wouldn't be scrolling around or typing during an interview. Some sample prompts off the top of my head: Company Research: (I was pretty much exclusively applying to B2B SaaS/Tech companies) "Tell me about [Company Name]" "Who owns..." "Clarify the product lines" "Who are the key competitors" "What are the ARR estimates by product line." "Where does the product land in Gartner Magic Quadrant" Resume tweaking: "Look at this job req: [paste req] and let me know how to best format my resume to match: [paste resume text]" "Is this resume ATS optimized: [paste resume]" Interview Prep: "Give me 5 good questions for [HR/Hiring Manager Title/X-functional partner title]" "Give me 5 softball questions..." "What questions do you expect from..." "Give me 5 relevant STAR stories for..."
  5. Whew... new role starts 10/27. Upgrade in title, pay, bonus, and equity. Thanks to everyone who helped! Send me a DM if you want to connect on LinkedIn; I'm happy to broker any introductions that may help your search.
  6. I think you also get all the games broadcast on "Texan Live".
  7. For those of you that don’t know. I was unaware until last Friday. Dave Campbell’s has a Friday night wrap up show on YouTube. I watched it last week and enjoyed it. https://youtube.com/@davecampbells
  8. Drip 28 Bowie 21 Two muffed punts led to Bowie touchdowns. Plus another red zone turnover kept it closer than it looked like after the first. Drip a distant 3rd in 26-6A. Lost their best receiver for the year in a practice this week.
  9. They've done fine in the past, I usually hit the seal button pretty quickly. You can also freeze them on a sheet pan and seal the already frozen links.
  10. Cased some chicken bacon ranch links yesterday. Haven't decided if I'm gonna leave them fresh or smoke them... didn't use pink salt, so either way I'll vacuum seal and freeze.
  11. This has me thinking Drip might be fool’s gold. We’ll see in 2 weeks vs LT.
  12. A little more granular on the play-by-play pls.
  13. My 12 y/o daughter and I have started a daddy/daughter book club. We started with "The Book Thief" and I'm curious what ya'll would recommend for our next book?
  14. 4592222.com - why don't you jot it down. I loved a steak from the Hofbrau swimming in a pool of butter.
